That was hilarious. And I gained some more respect for Bruno now.

My guilty pleasure impersonating my fave band. Now for Billie to repay the favour and try a bit of doo wop... :sherlock:

I always love to see impressions of BJ XD

Hilarious! well now I have respect for Bruno Mars

Everybody now respects Bruno Mars !

Hé did a good job to imitate Billie :)

When I heard this was about pandora losing power and he was impersonating Billie Joe, I feared it was going to include a parody of the Iheartradio incident. Luckily it wasn't.

I found that skit pretty funny, and some of those impressions were pretty spot on.

Haha this guy is kind of cool, is there a clip of it? I wanna see it

I've always liked Bruno Mars, in terms of chart topping pop artists these days. I don't like many of them but he's alright. And yeah I really enjoyed that video! Sure it's over the top and a bit stereotypical of the generic punk rock vocalist, but if I didn't know who he was impersonating I think I'd be able to guess, regardless of the song. And he did the rest pretty well too.

I really enjoyed that video!

I thought he did a great job! When you're doing impressions of people you have to do more a caricature than an accurate portrayal to make it funny, he was hilarious. This has definitely improved my opinion of Bruno.

If it wasnt over the top it wouldnt be funny

Exactly!

He sounds more like the singer from Billy Talent.

I'm not into a lot of Bruno Mars' music. Some songs I don't mind, but I've never made it through "It Will Rain." But I have always respected his talent, especially after his Grammy performance. Cool stuff. One of the few who can sing, dance, and sing and dance at the same time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJR_NzpN3lQ

Also writes his own lyrics

It was pretty funny. I think he was just making fun of pop-punk in a generic way.

Haha I wonder if they were making Bruno do these songs on the spot, because sometimes when a certain song came on he would start laughing :P And the fact that for some of the songs he was like making up the lyrics xD

I think the Michael Jackson impressions was like perfection! Billie's...not so much. Like everyone has said before he put way to much British accent into the performance xD

I doubt it; they had to make sure Bruno knew the song well enough that he could sing the lyrics as they were meant to be sung (and you could tell Bruno was trying to avoid reading cue cards). He was just laughing in pretty much every sketch

Sucks that the sketch can't be on Hulu or NBC.com, though :(

Yeah, much as we love Billie, his voice itself isn't exactly one that, if a note-for-note impression, isn't that "funny" or mind-blowing like the MJ one. I'm curious which writer wrote the sketch and picked GD!

You know what? That Grammy performance is the reason I decided to buy Bruno's album. I had really liked Just The Way You Are and It Will Rain, but seeing him show his true talent like that made me respect him more. I'm glad I got his CD - it has some good songs. He's a great singer! :)

I thought that he did a great Billie and MJ impression. Especially the MJ one.

it was over the top but it was funny!

I always liked Bruno, but this upped my appreciation for him tenfold. His Bieber was a little weak, but everything else was spot on!

I wonder if Billie himself has seen this...?

That Grammy performance was my first exposure to Bruno Mars and I was blown the fuck away. That's how it's done, folks.

I'm probably being over-sensitive/protective/pissy but I didn't like it...
