.katie. Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Oooh, awesome I actually like Paramore, it's the majority of their fans I can't stand though
Isabel Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I wonder if they're using Paramore to attract more people to the shows? Yeah, they must be. Green Day aren't really as popular over here as they are in the UK, unfortunately
sampy Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Yeah, they must be. Green Day aren't really as popular over here as they are in the UK, unfortunately Same here
Bubbles. Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 it's the majority of their fans I can't stand though This.
Izzard Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Haha, I don't mind them, really. After all the arguments over "Green Day are better than Paramore / Paramore are better than Green Day", this happening is quite ironic and funny. I know a lot of people will be pleased with this... And a lot of people will be majorly pissed off, and then there's the ones {like me} who don't mind/don't care. Yeah I'm with you, I don't really care. i think it will be a very cool show to see .
captain peroxide Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Christ, why not a good band like Flogging Molly or something.
Bubbles. Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 Christ, why not a good band like Flogging Molly or something. I second this... Ah well, it's not like I'm going for the support act. Just as long as it's not a band that I reaaaally fucking can't stand.
bollard_11 Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I for one am fucking ecstatic about this. My favourite band (Green Day of coarse) and my second favourite band together  *ignores all negativity on thread in blissful happiness* This summer is going to amazing. I Totally agree with you
Hermione Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 So.........could they be supporting at Wembley too? Oh the horror
Princess Consuela Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I really like that poster. As for the Paramore... well.
Alan86 Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 So.........could they be supporting at Wembley too? Oh the horror Fortunately I think they are booked be playing somewhere else the day of the wembley concert

sara_gd Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I don't think they'll take too long... And I belive they are not bad live, so it will be OK What bothers me is people who are going there to see Paramore and once they are there they'll se Green Day too, and they are going to be in the first rows watching a band that they don't even like that much while lots of Green Day fans are in the back.
BillieJoeObsesser Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I was kinda disappointed hearing Paramore is touring with Green Day...
Rosie May Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I really don't want them to support. I don't like them, especially their newer stuff and they just seem like irritating people. Also they're weird christians and they're songs are about being christian :| I mean...no need to force shit on us. Plus, alot of Paramore fans are ew. Really ew. They don't make Christian music though, I don't think they have very many songs about religion at all, and that's like saying GD are forcing anti-religious attitudes on people with EJN. Although the do seem to have a lot of annoying fans. I'm actually really looking foward to seeing them, it's a bonus to me to see two bands I like in the one day.
greendaytodeathandback Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 holy shit, are you seirious? one of my best fiends is gonna be sooooooo pissed, she wouldnt go to Green Day coz she wanted to go to Paramore, and now she could have seen the two hahahahaha I don't think they'll take too long... And I belive they are not bad live, so it will be OK What bothers me is people who are going there to see Paramore and once they are there they'll se Green Day too, and they are going to be in the first rows watching a band that they don't even like that much while lots of Green Day fans are in the back. I was thinking of that too... Sucks a lot..
HaushinkaSins Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 kinda wish paramore would open for GD for a new york show. :/ i like paramore.... but of course green day > paramore. but still lol
garnet Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Aww i kinda wanted paramore for Wembley, wouldnt matter as to whether we got loadsa emo paramore fans cos all the tickets are already sold out to GD fans.. Cant believe theres still unsold tickets in other countries! I only had to breathe in the UK and most of them sold quickly, last year in wembley arena i didnt even get standing tickets i was stuck in seating jumping up and down screaming while an old couple gave me dirty looks -_- I didnt really enjoy pre madonna, can u imagine if slip knot came on stage everyone would boo them off.. i would anyway
Isabel Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 What bothers me is people who are going there to see Paramore and once they are there they'll se Green Day too, and they are going to be in the first rows watching a band that they don't even like that much while lots of Green Day fans are in the back. Oh trust me, that won't be happening.
sara_gd Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Oh trust me, that won't be happening. It will D: Well, lots of Green Day fans will be on the front , that's for sure, but some of us won't (like me, because I have a really stupid dad )
Tubbie Head Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I was kinda disappointed hearing Paramore is touring with Green Day... yeah, I'm really disappointed! I mean, they don't have anything in common.. and they are a shit mtv band... just like the others.. I'm sory to say it this way, but really? Do the GD boys have anything to do with the supporting acts choice? I thought so, before... But now... What's next? Tokio Hotel?
