Mar Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 They make the thread longer and then the same image is posted repeatedly for no reason. It clogs things up pretty badly. For some people it can cause longer loading time for the thread. So, you take the tags off the url and the image is still there, but the thread isn't clogged up and nothing is overly repetitive because people don't see the image over and over unless they want to and for those with really slow internet, they don't have issues with the thread loading.Ah, that makes sense. I just always forget since like I said, I've never encountered it It's pretty pathetic that I post on too many forums and get the rules for them confused! It's like all of the classroom syllabi that I get, and I can't keep each individual class correct!Oh seriously, I'm on such a high from Green Day winning/performing, Stephen Colbert winning and being hilarious, Jason Mraz winning twice, and Gaga winning twice and performing amazingly! I don't know how I'm going to sleep! Just bummed I couldn't be on GDC with you guys!

They and the AI cast have worked hard to make it happen and while I think that everyone's entitled to their opinion, please keep that in mind when judging the performance. I know. I can't wait to see AI!!

I loved the performance tonight, though...the cast brought an amazing new dynamic to the song, and I'm so proud of them.

I wish there were some red carpet pictures of them!------Did anyone see the guys in the audience other than the time they won? I didn't. Their "winning moment" was all screwed up for me... I have a DVR and was a few minutes behind. When I saw Alice Cooper and Katy Perry were about to do Rock Album, I hit the "live tv" button right away without even thinking, and Green Day was already up on stage. I was like "Shit, I missed their name being called!"I got to rewind and watch it, but - it wasn't the same. I have to watch award shows live from now on, because even though I was stoked and yelping because GD just won - it just wasn't a proper way to watch it!

I generally like taylor but her live performance was definitely not up to par. Their kiss and his shout-out to her made me squee!They won the biggest thing they were nominated for and broke the streak of Album of the Year nominees sweeping! I'm so happy for them and I hope they have a wonderful night!Their performance was my favorite! By far! it was so raw and had so much power, and it's such a beautiful song! But Tony has such a great voice and it was a shame that his mic was off. I agree with MTV's review that BJA is a "fountain of charisma" , they also think the cast held their own but that Green Day has a way of blowing other people off the stage!T-Swizzle needs to learn how to sing (but I think she's cute, though she did not deserve AOTY), Gaga weirded me out (hated that MC guy in her performance, and her voice was off tonight), and Beyonce really needed to tone it down (love her voice, but all the trills were overkill).And best dressed definitely goes to the perfectly coordinated boys of Green Day!
