dolce Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 ^ I have difficulty trying to see how they're not attractive, though.I mean, 99% of why I find them attractive is because I love THEM and their personalities, but, even if I didn't - I'd still think they're attractive. They're gorgeous compared to other current bands, and they're gorgeous compared to - uh, everyone else, too.
GDM Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 The Jonas Brothers and Green Day were named some of the best dressed at the Grammys by TVGN.

XBlade1X Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 It was an amazing performance... has anyone ripped a video of it for download please? sorry I dont really want to fish through the hundreds of comments to find the one I need haha
karma1215 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 L.O.L....Mike was giving that poor girl the stink eye... guess she won't be talking to him anytime soon. No nod of approval or smile or anything :/ ... imagine if that was a fan on stage. Good thing Billie came to the rescue and saved the day.
mlines6 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I agree with that :kiss:Ok, looks like I'll have to try and record the Fashion Police. Just glad to hear they were at least mentioned and, I'm assuming, shown on tv again. I watched the E Countdown to Red Carpet & Red Carpet yesterday, and was also going between 3 different channels this evening doing Grammy roundups, but nothing was even mentioned of Greenday and no glimpses of the band. So not nearly enough Greenday coverage with the Grammys for me. I always enjoy their interviews as they are soo fun! Not even any shots of them sitting in the crowd during other parts of the show like they usually have. I didn't even know they showed the earlier awards on tv earlier..hmm...though with some replies I've read..seems like I didn't miss anything.?.But I'm glad I got to see their performance and acceptance speech. The performance was alright, though I would have liked to hear the band a little more. They all looked good as always, but Mike was particularly cute it seemed. I loved that look he gave when the cast singer got close to him. And the speech was nice, but tooo short. I wish Mike & Tre could have had a chance to say something.I hope the musical will come back to California...it is closer to where I live than New York is. I would LOVE to see the musical, but I had no money last year since I just traveled to see 4 GD concerts...and no money to go to NY right now Someday I would like to see the show.I hope the guys enjoy a little break, but will come back and do more US shows this year...I know Billie Joe mentioned it in an interview that they will be back. I can't wait to see GD live and in person again!
Izzard Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I really like this and the whole musical thing...but a part of me is worried that it could be a career killer..i hope not though. I guess I just worry to much. and yeah I don't really feel to bad about that girl...she was like feeling mike..obviously he's not to into that lol

mlines6 Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Ooopss....can't believe I forgot to say CONGRATS TO Green Day for winning the award for Rock Album :) Well deserved! I've never cared much for Kings oF Leon, so not too happy that Green Day lost out on other awards to them. But I'm glad Green Day's award was the televised one. I'm sure they had a great time at the after parties as well Ok, looks like I'll have to try and record the Fashion Police. Mar Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 This is what Entertainment Weekly said about the performance:Broadway babies met multiplatinum gutter punks in Green Day’s rousing performance of “21 Guns” (from '09's 21st Century Breakdown) with the cast of American Idiot, the new stage musical named for the band’s monster 2004 album. A little bit Glee and a lot bit Rent, but still rock ’n’ roll. The three female vocalists were on-point, and added a fresh dynamic to a song that's already seen many awards-show runs this year — though guitarist Mike Dirnt looked perhaps the least comfortable with the drama-kid razzle-dazzle of it all. Grade: B+B+ isn't bad at all, but WTF at them saying Beyonce's performance was better. I'm sorry, I don't hate Beyonce or anything, but she was just kind of screaming.
thoroughlyme Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 So my dad watched this with me last night, having never heard them sing before, and thought they were the best act of the night. He loved the performance both Green Day and the cast, and it has opened him up to them, and it makes me so happy!

And everyone seems to be commenting on Mike, lol. I hope someone asks him what was up with that in an interview.
thoroughlyme Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 ^^EW is all pop, they don't normally like stuff like this. But at least they gave them a B+_

AnaArmstrong Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I really enjoyed their performance at Grammy Awards. Amazing (as usual) and they deserve the reward even if I'd have given a nomination for 21Guns as best song of the year (and it had to win that prize, in my opinion All the single ladies is an awful song)And of course 21st Breakdown is the best rock album of the year, even if I like U2 and AC/DC.
Tiffx Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I just saw a short interview with Green Day on E. They asked them what the after party was going to be like and Tre said 'hard to get in' and they all laughed. So cute.
parinaz Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I've got a question. why Green Day is not nominated in this year Brit Award? I just saw a short interview with Green Day on E. They asked them what the after party was going to be like and Tre said 'hard to get in' and they all laughed. So cute.any video plz?is it this one? I haven't watched it yet.here
