How can you actually "overplay" a song?

Just because you listen to it a lot, doesn't mean it's ruined, imo.

I don't know, BOBD was EVERYWHERE in 2005, to the point where I couldn't listen to it for a while. Even now, when I listen to AI, I tend to skip it, just because I've heard it so many times.

But anyway, Whatsername is certainly the perfect album closer.

I love how the song is really calm and muted and then it sort of jolts you back into reality with the instrumental before "Remember, whatever..."

Every single lyric in this whole song means the world to me I think we all have had a Whatsername at one point

But then again... I'm not sure if I could listen to that song with so many other people. Hearing it live would be amazing, but... this song can be hard to listen to alone at times, let alone in a group of thousands of other people. I would most likely get teary eyed and upset, and get a lump in my throat. And I'd rather not get that way in public. But then again, this song is pretty amazing, and I think I could be overwhelmed with excitement if I heard it live. I suppose it would be random as to whether or not I would get excited or a bit upset.

i cried during BOBD and Good Riddance. i was the only one ho was crying but i didn't really care. those are songs that are very special to me, and if i ever saw Whatsername i'd cry too. i don't think you should care about other people XD for all i cared they could all burn in hell. i just wanted to listen to the songs.
