susanananananaa Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 Oooooh. They have a DVD too!? I'll have to get that, whenever I have enough money to splurge on all of their stuff. I love them live, so that's my Kaiser Chief priority now, bahaha. ;DThey have two DVDs actually. Enjoyment and Live at Elland Road. Oh, and "Yours Truly, Angry Mob" has a special edition that came with a DVD as well. I own this and Enjoyment. I'm saving money for Elland Road as I spent my last euros on a KC tee (their official store is having some great bargains!)Ok, I'll stop the advertising now.
Nele Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 they are. they had amazing stage presence. they worked the audience really well. it was full of energy. i felt bad i couldn't sing along, but i was still dancing, jumping, screaming, and clapping. that's how good they were. i've never even heard any of their songs but Ruby and I was so excited that I felt like I've been listening to them for years. I met the bass player after the show. He was really nice. Even though he was about to get into a car, he still took the time out to take a picture with me. sounds cool. but since they won't play at the gigs i'm going to i won't be to excited about tre liking themyou took a picture with a guy from a band you don't really now? Oo

Oh, thanks! =]And, no, advertising is good! I guess we should probably do this in the Kaiser Chiefs thread in the Other Bands section, if there is one, haha. But, seriously. They are awesome. And Green Day are awesome. When you put the two together, you get something amazing. ;D
Soo Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I would love to see Green Day and the Kaisers at the same gig! Went to see the Kaisers in February and met them all afterwards. They were really nice and spent ages talking and having photos taken. They have a lot of time for their fans.
Lauren Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 you took a picture with a guy from a band you don't really now? Oowhy not? he was a really good bassist and the band was amazing. and he smiled at me!
emmaILGD! Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 why not? he was a really good bassist and the band was amazing. and he smiled at me!I've taken pictures with band members from bands I've never heard of
Sarahnade. Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 why not? he was a really good bassist and the band was amazing. and he smiled at me!Awesome! I would do that too ;DI saw a band called Leathermouth, which is fronted by Frank Iero, the guitar player of My Chemical Romance. I saw the bassist after the show, loading gear, but since I didn't know a lot about him, I didn't talk to him.I'm glad you did what I didn't do! Ahaha.
St. Jimmy of New York Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I had never really listened to em before I saw em Monday and Tuesday but they were really good. The lead singer smashed his rib on Monday and it looked pretty bad but he kept going. Good stuff.
Nele Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 why not? he was a really good bassist and the band was amazing. and he smiled at me!just wondering =)i would probably do it too.
thenextsexpistol_mak Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 same here. but they told us to download their albums illegally. they did? cool!
Hermione Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 That's cool! The Kaiser Chiefs are a funny bunch, they amuse me. They're my mum's favourite band, she can't believe they'd lower themselves to supporting a shit band like Green Day

Reality Is Due Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I saw them when I was at MSG on Monday and I was impressed with the lead singer's stage presence. Before that, I only knew two songs by them. Pretty cool band. I might listen to some of their albums. :]
Katherine Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 They're pretty good. Tre is a fan of all of the bands that are touring with them, though.
Bexie. Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I posted a thread similar to this ages ago, but it was about Franz Ferdinand. I think the name of the thread was 'Why Franz Ferdinand are touring with Green Day' or something similar to that.
Mar Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Well then, I love Tre even more! I'm so bummed I couldn't see a KC-opened gig this tour."Always Happens Like That" is one of my favorites (and I love Lily Allen too, so it's an all around A+ song for me)!
Kryssi. Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 LOL.Actually sounds like Tre's humour... getting the Kaisers and Franz to support them on tour... When the Kaisers killed Franz Ferdinand in one of the wars..
Psycho Britney Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I wish they were supporting Green Day in the UK.Ditto! The Kaiser Chiefs are so much fun-I personally love all three of there albums!
Lauren Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 they did? cool! Yeah, I swear they did. So if I ever get busted, I'm telling the police that they said it was okay at the concert.
iLozza! Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I'm actually starting to like the Kaiser Cheifs now
