farley drexel hatcher Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I wanted to take my mum to one of the concerts in October actually, but I don't think she could make it. Shame because I think she would really enjoy it
Jason Alvarez Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I would have to let her go or she will freak out.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I would have to let her go or she will freak out.sounds like a perfect momma.
Marie_GD Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 To see Green Day I'd go with a parrequit and a melon on my head. I don't care, I just wanna SEE GREEN DAY!
The Disappearing Boy Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 to answer the thread question, yes i would. she likes their music.
Princess Consuela Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 My mom would probaby die in the crowd, but I'm sure she'd enjoy seeing them almost as much as I will
ILoveTableArt Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I told my mom that I will totally take her to go see Green Day the next time they come through. It'll be absolutely hilarious to see my mom at a concert singing along.
BringMoreKnives Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 i guess i would have to. i can't drive i guess i could hitch a ride maybe...nah..
Hermione Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 If my dad lived in this country I would totally go with him, been to loads of gigs with him. He quite likes Green Day and wants to see them live, his band even do a couple of GD covers . If someone wants to lend me a few hundred quid I'll go to Texas and see them with him!My mum would never go to see them in a million years, she would probably boo and heckle them. Although I'm sure I remember her admitting they looked good live when she watched Bullet in a Bible back when it came out, back before she "hated" Green Day just because I like them. Hmmmm.
Tubbie Head Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I would never, ever go to a Green Day concert with me.First of all, she doesn't know them, and second, if she even hears a 'fu-', she'd drag me out of the concert.wow.. That's bad...My mum loooooves Green day.. my father likes Green day.. and my sister (9 years old) wants to go see them so badly hahah.. and yeah, they are going all with me.. My mum and sister will be on the sits.. Me and my dad, on the front.. 28th September will rock To see Green Day I'd go with a parrequit and a melon on my head. I don't care, I just wanna SEE GREEN DAY! haha oh yeah
J'net Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 My mom would probaby die in the crowd, but I'm sure she'd enjoy seeing them almost as much as I will Hahaha - you might be surprised! My son and I often go to concerts together. He has finally learned that he doesn't have to worry about me - as a matter of fact, I don't want him bothering me to ask if I'm okay. Just let me enjoy the show!Actually, I told him about this thread yesterday, and he had a good laugh! It doesn't bother him at all to be seen with me (or if it does, he hides it REALLY well).
AndrewSon Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I went with my mom to GMA show. we got up at 4 30 and went to NYC and were the first people following the guy who leads the VIPS in,.. we got up close right against the baracade gate thing, and billie signed my mag. she took some really good pictutes, and held her own in the crowd.. after the show i got some good taco bell ahah and we took the train home.. it was a great show, and we had a great time.. theres no reason why someone can't go to a show with their mom...
katie Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 i went with my mom when i was 15and quite honestly, i think she was the best person at the time i could've gone withshe made it even more fun.. if that was possible
Rebellious_Marionette Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I'm going to green day's concert with my dad. He's not a fan or something but I guess, he likes them. Plus he'd never let me go there alone! I'd NEVER take my mom with me tough... She doesn't like Green Day and she's the most un-rock-able person ever!I love you, mom!
Green*Day*Freak Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 i could never...EVER!!! i have a terrible relationship with my mom.....she hates the music i listen to.... & will kill me if she knows Green Day swears and masturbates in public... Hell no...i couldn't.......that would probably be the worst experience of my life.....that's why i'm going to see them with my older sister....relief!! lol
mad hatter. Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I am going with my mother x]. My mom actually really likes the guys. When they're on TV, she'll come down and watch them. (: She requested 21 Guns to a radio station here. The only thing is she's going to be seated and I'm going down to GA.
theeulogy Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 ahahahXDDDCan't even imagine that!!No,no,no!I love my mother but she can't stand theese guys.....especially Tre! He's freakin' her out. really
IzButt Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 YES SHE'S GOING WITH ME She is really starting to like them. She thinks they are excellent musicians and is talking me to two Green Day concerts. My mom thinks Tre is cute, but really perverted And whenever Green Day is on TV, she gets a little excited and watches them with me.I am so unbelievably happy my mom is coming with me. We've been to so many concerts together and it's always a blast when she comes along. My mom totally understands me when it comes to any art form(including music!)
Princess Consuela Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Hahaha - you might be surprised! My son and I often go to concerts together. He has finally learned that he doesn't have to worry about me - as a matter of fact, I don't want him bothering me to ask if I'm okay. Just let me enjoy the show!Actually, I told him about this thread yesterday, and he had a good laugh! It doesn't bother him at all to be seen with me (or if it does, he hides it REALLY well).Who knows, she keeps surprising me with getting crazy about GD Sometimes even more than me. Like for example, she hears them on a radio, turns it up very loud (which pisses my dad off btw ) and yells at me to come to hear them. And I'm like 'Cool, but I can hear this song whenever I want to'. She's never been to that kind of show and I'm sure she's no idea what the hell is going on there I teased her the other day that when GD comes to Poland I'll buy her a seat ticket, and she said 'No way, I'd want to be close to Billie Joe!'I think there's a certain age when children/teenagers don't want to show with their parents, when they think it's embarassing for them or whatsoever. It usually changes later. Of course it all depends on relatioship between parents and children Your son is lucky to have such rockin' mom like you
