Yea it's weird, cuz Good Riddance doesn't make me emotional at all, cuz I think of it more as a fuck you track than a happy memories track, but I know everyone feels differently.

It's the lyrics for me. The first few lines in the song make me think of having to go through that loss. It kills me to think that my horse said goodbye to his friend. It just brings back the day that he died on me. The phone call, the tears, the freaking out, the not knowing if I was going to make it, etc. But then I think to myself "skp to King for A Day", can't cry and feel depressed while you're listening to a song about cross dressing.
