B-CIDE Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 yeah, it was Out All Night. I like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. lol. Green Day fuck ups are pretty funny. Like the one during Brain Stew where Billie was hammered and forgot the lyrics... it occured before Mike broke his nose. That's funny cuz I just watched that lastnight, It was funny to see BJ fuck it up, "I forgot the lyrics" hahaha, then with Mike and his nose "it's the cocaine, it's the cocaine"

Nimrod99 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 the naked stage diving thing is by far the most hilarious. I know I mentioned it a few times back... but seeing all three guys laughing like they were gonna shit themselves was priceless. haha.
Juan Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I'm back after missing about 4 pages or so, but whatever That 86 performance has been on of my favorites, I've always loved how Billie Randomly moves his face like real fast
Starbug Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I am completely useless in this conversation seeing as I've never seen any of this I have recordings of some of it, though, like BJ messing up his lyrics on Brain Stew, and the drunk TOYL. Audio mp3s, but no videos. And that makes me sad I've got to get something done about this...

Libertine Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 hey, a question for you veterans of the dookie era!when do u think was green day bigger ? dookie era or american idiot era? which "era" would have more relevanz and impact for the music history? and why (because obvious u r going to choose the dookie era )
hardtoconcentrate Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Angie, I'm just being nosey....who are your top 10 favourite bands then?
Nimrod99 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 hey, a question for you veterans of the dookie era!when do u think was green day bigger ? dookie era or american idiot era? which "era" would have more relevanz and impact for the music history? and why (because obvious u r going to choose the dookie era )I think green day was bigger in the AI era. Well, they both have a lot of relevance and impact... I think AI might have been a little bigger though because of all the political tones that were associated with it. but then again, I wasn't a hardcore fan when Dookie was out either.
Starbug Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 hey, a question for you veterans of the dookie era!when do u think was green day bigger ? dookie era or american idiot era? which "era" would have more relevanz and impact for the music history? and why (because obvious u r going to choose the dookie era )AI, definitely. Much bigger. But without Dookie, AI never would've happened. But they didn't have their own shoes and air fresheners and make up cases and socks back in Dookie (Did they? lol if they did, MAN this fangirl missed out!)Angie, I'm just being nosey....who are your top 10 favourite bands then? 1-Greeeeeen Daaaaay and all GD related side projects :wink:2-Coldplay3-Beastie Boys4-The Beatles5-Kiss6-Queen7-The Ramones8-The White Stripes9-Red Hot Chili Peppers10-Misfits or Weezer or Rancid (these three switch out haha)I'm a :geek: A lot of these are sentimental choices, really, for different reasons. but I dig alllll the music, too. Fun stuff.

rootbeersoup Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Don't worry, I've looked into it and they didn't have air fresheners in the dookie days That would be very oxymoronic

But they didn't have their own shoes and air fresheners and make up cases and socks back in Dookie (Did they? lol if they did, MAN this fangirl missed out!)Yeah, I don't think they had all that massive merchandise back then.... I mean other than like posters and shirts and stuff. I know for sure there were no dolls back then. Oh, they did have socks during Warning though.
