Isabel Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 and it kills me that i haven't had a chance to thank Mike for the vest. I'm fairly certain that he has at least some notion of your appreciation for it
Leisha-LUNA Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I'm fairly certain that he has at least some notion of your appreciation for it hahaha i think the fact that I was doing a combination of all of these faces all at the same time, probably said it all. However, I just really really really want to thank him. I still don't understand what the hell was going through his brain when he did that. and I need to see him again
uhleckseee Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I used to cry to Jesus of Suburbia. That song just relates to me. Idk, Macy's Day Parade kind of just puts me in a whole different state when I hear it.....or at least a couple months ago when I was about to break up with my then-boyfriend. A lot of their songs make me pretty emotional if I think about them...
Eighty. Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Yeah, shortly after becoming obsessed with them I got depressed. So, I got emotional over them all the time. omg that happened to me one or two years ago, I was so fucking mad because of them
AilzMacD Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 when i got green day tickets, then my mum made me sell them because she had planned a family holiday on that date. i was so upset, i sat in my room and played green day songs, whilst crying, for hours.

EvanAsFuck Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Sometimes i'll tear up near the end of Jesus of Suburbia at the Tales of Another Broken Home part cause the song means so much to me... Also i teared up on BIAB when they played WMUWSE and Billie looks to the sky and starts tearing
jenne! Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 oh gosh - i've had so many emo moments due to this band. most recently, when i heard 'Before The Lobotomy' for the first time last year, it hit me like a brick. the lyrics really represented the hurt and pain i'd been going through after my brother died very suddenly. When Billie sang those first lines i lost it. had to pull the car over and cry like a tool. that's nothing compared to hearing it LIVE and be so close to the stage that i almost had to leave. the fans around me all hugged me, and i didn't even know them...this band has the best fans. for real. anyway, emo jenne is emo.
BrickOfSelfControl1995 Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 tons of times for the song "Macy's Day Parade" maybe once over "J.A.R." and i get sad during wake me up when september ends in bullet in a bible (dont we all lol)
redbloodedmannequin Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Err, I almost cried during Macy's Day Parade once. It came up on the radio the day after my 8th grade graduation and I was feeling a little emotional. I almost cried though.

Whatsername 36 Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 I cried once, while listening to Macy's Day Parade.

Dutch_Idiot89 Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I teared up when they came up on stage at Pinkpop, it was my first show and I was sooooo excited for months already, and then FINALLY! So yeah, I got a bit emotional and I teared up when they played WMUWSE because that is just a beautiful song..
Hanako Alice Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I cried when I saw them (for the first time) playing Wake me up when september ends at Rock werchter. And my friend cried because I cried xD so I wasn't alone

Marki. Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 No. I don't think I ever will... :-P It surprised me so much when I started crying right at the beginning of 21st CB in Munich I was like What am I even doing? Get yourself together girl... xD
whatsername..x Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I had a lump in my throat during Time Of My Life when they played it at Wembley, I'd been looking forward to that day for so long, the end was just quite emotional
UnderClassHero Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 well i get goosebumps everytime i hear are we the waiting, it just screams epicness to me but i have cried to give me novacaine and restless heart syndrome, especially WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS. but not much of their old songs are much to cry about, they're more energetic and upbeat. oh and i also cry at the one chance i missed seeing green day last year while people from my school who don't even like green day got the tickets first. call me a crybaby, but it's pure evil!
TwoDollarAnna Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I usually cry to Wake me up when september ends cause it reaminds me of my dad And i saw this video when BJ kissed a girl during Are we the waiting and that's why i always get really whiny when i hear that song
belinda jane Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I get emotional WAY too easily. I cry whenever I see them for the first time in a really long time, when I hear my favourite song live, when I hear Billie sing "for what it's worth, it was worth all the while". But I'm an emotional human being, it's all part of who I am, really.. hahaha.

When we saw them through the mesh under the stage. oh the screaming and hysteria... haha
heeygloria Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 i think the only time ive gotten emotional over Green Day , was at the last concert i went to , i was so overwhelmed with happiness
Isabel Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 That reminded me of just before they came out in Munich. When we saw them through the mesh under the stage. oh the screaming and hysteria... haha That was like me in Manchester! I was full blown crying! And we weren't even right up near the corner of the catwalk, we were way down the barrier. It was just because I hadn't them in 6 months I suppose and it was so overwhelming
