Smoothed Out Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I burst into tears when I heard the piano solo from 21 Guns at the first Birmingham gig-I don't think I'll be able to listen to 21 Guns for a while now
Metanoia Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 at the moment i really get emotional when i hear the end of 21st century breakdown....... the "oh dream american dream" part.....
pols4tre Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I cried at the concert on the 23/10/09;Billie Joe played Time of Your Life and mixed it up a bit with WMUWSE at the end and I burst into tears. It was such an amazing performance I couldn't help but shed a few tears! My friend was like, uuum...but hey ho. It was an amazing performance. Also, during Minority, I got a little teary. I completely forgot how amazing that song was.
suicidexmakeover Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 at mk i cried when he play toyl, because it was like, i'm seeing my favourite band and now it's over! but it was worse when i saw them in b'ham. i cried when they came on cos they were so close and it was so overwhelming, and then i cried while he did his wmuwse/toyl medley thing. it was just amazingly emotional and good
colour_me_stupid_ Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I burst into tears when I heard the piano solo from 21 Guns at the first Birmingham gig-I don't think I'll be able to listen to 21 Guns for a while now It's actually the most beautiful thing I have ever heard! Im getting teary right now just thinking about it! I think Im too over-emotional
Freeny Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 well, yeah. I've never become so emotional while listening to them as I was when I saw them in Copenhagen, and they played Are We The Waiting. That song hasn't really meant that much to me before, but right that moment it meant the world to me, it was just like realization hit me and I cried a little. Out of happiness.. and wtf-ness. XDThe Are We The Waiting-St Jimmy was awesome both times I saw them, it was just... exactly the way I've felt before in my life and still do at times. FUCK, I had fun!
Smoothed Out Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 It's actually the most beautiful thing I have ever heard! Im getting teary right now just thinking about it! I think Im too over-emotional You can never get too over-emotional when Green Day's involved, especially if it's your first time seeing them live
Metanoia Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I always get emotional when i hear the audio recordings from the show in cologne wanna be back there !!!!
Tashidge Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 You know in Bullet In A Bible where they're playing Wake Me Up and Billie starts crying? That gets me sometimes.I cried twice when I saw them live. Once during Boulevard of Broken Dreams and the other during 21 Guns. I think at those points it sank in that I was actually seeing my favourite band and it wasn't an odd dream.Other than that, I don't really cry over Green Day songs.
Kryssi. Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Before the whole Rocktober tour, I was a little emotional, I mean, there were odd moments that I would cry a little over No One Knows and Letterbomb. But I cried on the 24th when I was on my own at the back of the arena watching Billie playing the acoustic encore. I felt like such a wuss, haha. And then again at Wembley when they played Letterbomb, I bawled my eyes out
suicidexmakeover Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I have cried during the finale at MK and Birmingham. It's just so emotional when your stood a meter away from your hero and he's just singing and everyone is singing it back to him. Ahh it makes me go all shivery just thinking about it!
Kryssi. Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I have cried during the finale at MK and Birmingham. It's just so emotional when your stood a meter away from your hero and he's just singing and everyone is singing it back to him. Ahh it makes me go all shivery just thinking about it!Awwww. I cried at the Bowl, too. It was the best night of my life up to that point back then, and I didn't want it to end, and then seeing the fireworks after the show.... man, that was too much. I'm kinda glad that I didn't stay for the final at Wembley, because I know for sure I would've broken down.
Radioactive1 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I didn't cry. Even though I am un-emotional I really thought I would. Seriously people have died and I haven't cried, I just have a problem with showing emotion. Buut when he played TOYl at Manchester I felt a bit down and got shivers just because I thought "This is going to be the last time I see them for god knows how long" so that was really sad.Buuut then they realised the Manchester and Wembley dates so its all good again lol
Mrs. Nobody Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I burst into tears when they came onstage last night. ahaha it was funny cause i really genuinely didn't expect it.I cried when the gig finished, and my mum was too. amazing aha

I'm kinda glad that I didn't stay for the final at Wembley, because I know for sure I would've broken down.It was so amazing! I was completely on my own so I felt like a fool but I didn't care. I had finally got to see my favourite band for the first time!I burst into tears when they came onstage last night. ahaha it was funny cause i really genuinely didn't expect it.I did that too at Birmingham. Cos I was so close it was such a shock to see them and I just cried ahahah
fev5 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I cried when they came on stage at Birmingham. It was my first time seeing them and i just couldn't believe they were there right infront of me!
rhiaaaaa Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I'm really not an emotional person at all, but I almost cried during Jesus Of Suburbia when I heard it live.Oh and during Good Riddance I've also actually cried a couple of times just listening to them on my iPod, when I've been really angry and then I just let it out :]
Miss Hedgie Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 The other day I was listening to American Idiot full blast whilst studying...I'd forgotten fully why I'd fallen in love with Green Day for the first place. It got to the first few chords of Wake me up...and i was Then it hit why I fell for this bands music in the first place.
IAmARevenant Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Time of Your Life and Wake Me Up When September Ends. Specifically the music videos for each.Besides that, Green Day isn't a band I really cry over.

Charlieks Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 same for me im going to weep when they walk out on stage. ive been listening to them my whole life and ive never seen them before. its gonna be so surreal... ive only been listening to them for about 5 years, but they were my first favourite band and they still are, but yeah, just like, seeing them, i cant believe its actually happening.
