A lot becouse I don't know anyone in my city that loves them as I do, they've change me, becuse I didn't know who I was but now yes they make laugh in the worst moments, becouse they are for me most than a band, they are part of my family, my friends and me, and everyday I need to listne to them, i hope that someday I'll meet them of knew them, and I always cry a lot becouse I lost their last concert here becouse I didn't want to go becouse I only knew few songs and I was on my village, that was the worst thing I did in my life...

and well. my mom has told me that ive got too emotionally attatched to billie. which i think is true. but i dont thing theres anything i can do to fix it. -_- i let it go for a while. i actually went through a period of time where i was mad at green day and ignored them for like 2 months. but then i got over it and it all came back.

same.

actually Green Day brings out my bipolar side, sometimes they make me EXTREMELY happpy and sometimes they make me feel like shit.

don't feel like explaining why, though. And yes, I think it's silly.

edit: I cried also when I discovered that my older brother went to GD's concert here in Brazil in 98, and he never told me anything about it. I was like WTF :o

I think that people need to be reminded that 'emotional' doesn't just cover melancholic or sad feelings. It can mean feelings of happiness and joy too!

Exactly! Green Day makes me excited and happy and sad and joyous and depressed. All at once.

I cried 'cause I couldn't go on their concert(It was the worst thing that happened in my life)

And sometimes I just miss about them& when I hear some their song I want to cry

Posted

And I'm always sad when I hear that other people have met GD,talked to them

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG i always am emotional for Green Day. I cried for Wake Me Up When September Ends, I saw a video were Billie Joe was crying, I cried. They're part of my life take them away and I'm like half broken. They make me laugh too though. :D

God... I've cried in so many songs it's not funny...

SOme of the songs I've cried in are:

Jesus of Suburbia (City of the Damned), Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Whatsername, Good Riddance (From BIAB), 2000 Light Years Away, Christie Road, 80

Uptight, Waiting Macy's Day Parade and Stand By Me ( Live at Telstra Dome 2005)

I cried when I watched the video of Billie buying Joey a goldfish too. :bink: No idea why; I just burst into tears.

But then other times they can make me really happy too; like hyper-active! xD

I think I've probably cried a few times. When I heard WMUWSE a few times I think I did. And just listening to their music alone gives me goosebumbs bc its sooo powerful. It's amazing. Especially when they played WMUWSE in BIAB...that was so...ah. words cant even explain it. I just felt like I was there in person listening and watching that song being played. And I felt ALL the emotion. i was speechless.

Oh yes.

When I was 12 someone jacked my Nimrod cd and my Queen Greatest Hits cd from my locker at school. That album meant a lot to me at the time so I got really upset about it and even cried. It still does mean a lot to me but nowadays if someone stole my nimrod cd I'd just go buy another one.

After my dad died and I got into the car to go home, WMUWSE came on.

I pretty much broke down for alot of different reasons.

1)Its was at the end of September

2)He always associated that song with me cos it was one of the first songs I learned to play on guitar

3)I kinda felt a connection with Billie Joe that night.

I cant listen to it now without getting emotional

hah no. i love it when people say " i feel connected to Billie Joe when i hear WMUWSE". haha that always amuses me. no offense..but after a while..its just funny.

None taken :) I know it sounds cheesy

^I don't think that's cheesy, and even if it is it doesn't matter. I think it's amazing how music can reflect people's moods and make you feel happy, sad, and everything in between. Music is a great thing and it can really enhance your life. It's other people's loss if they'd rather scoff at that idea.
