milica. Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 yeah, it happend few times back, usually when I listen to BIAB [as i can see not the only one here]few days ago i had a dream - some random guys from school who were singing homecoming and i started to cry... weird.

Celes Chere Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 ^^oh my sister do that every time with american idiot...p.s. have you heard the whole album?yeah, I don't like it, specially the long songs, they're boring.I only like American Idiot, the song that is.
Guest give me novacaine-jos Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 ^^i thought that you will have liked it...
Celes Chere Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Yeah, it's just a little too boring and redundant for my taste. You see, the lyrics of the songs are just.... wait, that is hermoine's job!
Guest give me novacaine-jos Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 ^^actually the lyrics is what i love in that album...
mbk Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I think Green Day's songs have so much emotional depth it's hard for me to listen to them casually, while I'm just putzing around the house doing other things. Especially the songs off AI, which I rarely listen to because of that. But the songs that get me the most are the ones that ooze sweetness and concern. The lines making your mascara bleed, leaving traces of my mistakes, always get me. Or One for the Razorbacks.
Hermione Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 You see, the lyrics of the songs are just.... wait, that is hermoine's job! Yes of course, you'd better not comment on Green Day's lyrics because I'm the only person in the world who's allowed to!
04rebhop Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I don't usually cry at music and movies unless it's incredibly sad, so i can't really say i have ever cried at Green Day. The song Android makes me emotional though.
basketcase15 Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Of course not. The thought of that is just silly.
LeelaLeticia Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Well, I almost cry every time I watch or hear Good Riddance on BIAB dvd and I almost cried when I first heard Mother Mary 'cause I was so happy to hear them again, to hear Billie's AMAZING voice
hardtoconcentrate Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I got a bit emotional today and cried while listening to Dookie. It brought back some happy memories from a few years back and I don't know why, but the tears started flowing.
trejack101 Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Yes, whenever I hear the song Pretty Fly For a White Guy I get so emotional because I, infact, am pretty fly for a white guy. So it gives me an inner strength, confidence if you will (and I know you will), so much in fact that kittens and rabbits and tweedy birds swarm around me and sing to me as I stroll down the strip.
Sanity Loan Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 My dad died in September of '93 due to a car accident and WMUWSE reminds me of him. The line "As my memory rests, but never forgets what I lost..." reminds me of him.
Ila Reto Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Yes, whenever I hear the song Pretty Fly For a White Guy I get so emotional because I, infact, am pretty fly for a white guy. I got a bit emotional today and cried while listening to Dookie. Jack96 Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 ^^actually the lyrics is what i love in that album...i thought you were gonna sayjos and give me novacaine!
karma1215 Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 I got pretty emotional when I saw Green Day win the awards they won and they were congratulating and hugging each other. It was like it was their moment and nobody could take it away from them.
*Megan* Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Macy's Day Parade always gets to me.I never knew my dad- I doubt he knows I was born- and that song makes me think of my step dad and wonder what an upbringing by my REAL father would have been like.
Waffles Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Macy's Day Parade always gets to me.I think that song is the most emotional for me.
iamtheju Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 woah calm down there buddy. if i know hermione enough, the word "thickness" to her meant...well i uh, lol, i think i know my sister Hermione better than you do she was talking about the lyrics(as usual) and i was talking about the music.sorry if i got too emotional, i think i was listening to Green Day at the time. lmao
Hermione Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 ^I wasn't talking about the lyrics at all actually. I was talking about the fact you used the word "thickness", which is an amusing word :whistling:. You're wrong and she's right. End of.
