Sazzrah Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I touched Mike Dirnt on the shoulder - I could tell you the story of how that happened but I really cant be bothered. Mike Dirnt has a good shoulder.

Pan. Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 my story can beat up your story. my obese man can clobber your friends hand.My friend is obese too -- he's a whopping 250!
Kleptomaniac Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 After the concert I waited out back for 2 hours watching every tour bus leave and we were finally told the truth that they left right away after the concert. It was worth it and kinda dissapointing.
woven_basketcase Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 My friend is obese too -- he's a whopping 250!^ 325. ish.oh god. are we going to start an obese competition or something?
giantbbtstraw789 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 although I live in canada, me and my family would drive all the way to Seattle b/c we like shopping at the premium outlet.. So in the summer of '05 [forgot the date], we planned to stay overnight in Seattle. The next morning, I woke up at 6am and decided to buy a magazine, downstairs in the hotel lobby. I was flipping though the M Magazine.. And 80 was right next to me.
Trina Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I was flipping though the M Magazine.. And 80 was right next to me. That's very cool Did you speak to her or no? and wow major bumpage
giantbbtstraw789 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 ^^ i've been digging through a lotta old threads lately.. anyways, here was the convo... me: 80: *turns to face me* me: *cracks smile* a-are you adrienne? 80: *still smiling* Yes, yes I am. me: oh, hi, whassup? 80: nothing much, billie woke me up too early, so that's why i look so trashed now [or something along those lines]. me: Oh. How's Billie? 80: he's fine. Just getting some coffee right now, probably. random coffee cashier guy: here's your coffee, miss. 80: oh, thank you. *grabs coffee, turns to me* thanks for talking to me, uhhh-- me: Lilian. 80: oh. Thanks for talking to me, Lilian. I hope I'll see you again at the show tonight. *smiles* me: o-ok, b-bye. 80: *leaves* me: i think she was glad to get away from me, lol.

giantbbtstraw789 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 she is sweet. Hopefully, there aren't any 80 haters on this forum. But it was kinda strange how 80 didn't have coffee w/ billie and them...And how I met JUST 80. And she wasn't with anyone. And i didn't happen to bump into any members of gd while shopping.
Mrs. Nobody Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Nothing yet. My dad went to see them on their dookie tour =]
Ally Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 i have no stories either...haven't even seen them live yet, hopefully this year i will tho
MindlessZombie Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I don't really have any Green Day stories...
Hermione Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 None yet, hehe. Roll on the tour! I met a bloke on a bus once and he told me he saw them live around 1994/95, and someone threw a teddy bear onstage, and Billie Joe pulled down his pants and pretended to stick it up his bum. This sounds plausible but I've always wondered if he was lying or not , he was a shifty character.
sharon mitchell Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Me and my man (aged 46 and 47 respectively) got into an invited audience only gig that we weren't invited to at the BBC studios in London, ending up on the barrier right in front of BJ. I was in heaven. Being there was wonderful in itself, but actually making eye contact with my heroes in such an intimate venue takes some beating. I exchanged smiles with Jason White, who was on lead guitar whilst Billie Joe was leaping about on the tiny stage. I hoped he was going to land at my feet, but he didn't. Billie Joe did a real cartoon style double-take when he spotted us during one of the breaks in filming – off balanced by our advanced age and my bright purple hair. I mouthed ‘All ages!’ to him, pointing to the part of my arm where he bears a tattoo of those very words. Billie grinned and nodded, mouthing “That’s cool”. I don’t care if he was laughing at me or with me, I made him smile. At one point, Mike Dirnt lip-read my comments about his brilliance and rewarded me with a trademark wink, a beautiful smile and a double thumbs-up. I still get goosebumps now thinking about it On the broadcast tv footage, G and I are clearly visible (for a nano-second!), having the best day of our lives, without a doubt.

Hermione Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 ^Ha you're right . Maybe that was one of the few things he said that was actually true. That gig was on Top Of The Pops wasn't it, god I remember being wowed by that just watching on TV! What an amazing experience to have.
