I’m really surprised how low people here are ranking the American Dream is Killing Me, especially since these are so many AI fans.

The song blends so well the lyrical content of AI, and Green Day’s classic power chords, and live show interaction potential.

I mean, what else do you want from this band? The track has got it.

i really loved all the album except corvette summer I don’t even understand how some of you love it haha but that’s fine ! Enjoy it ! 
 

I think that’s their best work since AI whereas I loved the trilogy AND Foam (sorry not sorry)

Politely disagree. Lyrically the worst on the album imo, don’t think many non GD fans will gravitate towards it but hey what do I know 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

Probably because its been out the longest and all the rest of the songs sound a lot more fresh. I think its a great song but even I've had to park it to the side for the time being...but its the perfect opener imo

Can not post it here because it does not allow uploading screenshoots or [any type of] image files, however when entering "Saviours"' file in YouTube, it says "14 videos" but only shows 4, while saying the other 10 are hidden. Could that mean there are lyric videos for all the previously unreleased songs?? Or i am simply misunderstanding?

@DonaldTrump Most people accept coming out once as being openly LGBTQ+. Billie being married to a woman has nothing to do with who he's attracted to. A lot of people who are bisexual struggle to feel seen and validated in their sexuality because so many outsiders try to deny it the moment they end up in a straight-presenting relationship.

A last note before i log out for today: many pages ago, a few people were mentioning other artists completely unrelated to Green Day, 20 and more posts were about them. i found it strange (just as the days which are heree again and are going to stay) because in the respective forums of those musicians i highly doubt the members are commenting about Green Day.

You're saying in a song that's just about Adrienne and nothing else, he includes both the line "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" and "Do you want to be my boyfriend?". Especially when he said it felt "really liberating to sing" "Do you want to be my boyfriend?" You don't think that's at all alluding to Billie's bisexuality? Why would it feel "liberating" if Billie wasn't still openly bi?

Suzie Chapstick has to be one of the worst Green Day songs ever. Jesus christ it's bad. Coma City was also a flop. Otherwise album has been nothing but bangers so far. Strange Days is the best one so far.
