New album - Saviors - Out January 19th

To me the album gives off the sound of what the triple album could have been in regards to the guitars.  Its better than Father of all motherfuckers.  However I don't know if I would rank it higher than revolution radio, but I would rank it higher than the triple album for sure.

Bobby Sox is also one of my least favorites, but it's still miles better than ANY song on FOAMF.

To be honest, It's been a while that I listened to IWTT, but I found the woo-oo-oohs and the tempo to be similar. Anyways, it's a fun cheesy song - I can see why people could like it. Just not my cup of tea

Saviors… woah.

This has everything. It’s a full on mix of Kerplunk!, Dookie, American Idiot, The Longshot, The Network, The Foxboro Hottubs, and These Paper Bullets.

It’s as if Billie just thought “fuck it, I like all this kind of music, it can all be Green Day” and just did the best of what he does and put it through the Green Day filter. 
 

I was getting worried about them, I didn’t want to admit it, but I was, but this is it. This is it. Killer album with solid promotion. I don’t think they will have another world take over, but we here, as fans, have something to be happy about.

I just got my shipping notice for the vinyl, I checked the tracking number and it said the label was created, so it's probably going to actually be sent out tomorrow, and they used ups sure post, sure post almost always adds an extra day 🤦‍♀️

I just listened to FOAM and revrad a few hours ago and I think of saviors as kind of a revrad part 2, and I mean that as a compliment, revrad is pretty underrated in my opinion

I can see that.  I do feel they have revolution radio and this album have similar elements and frankly grafittia is the door you go through when you get to the land of saviors.  At least lyric wise too so.

Definitely think Saviors is the best thing they've done since 21st Century Breakdown, probably on par with it for me actually!

 

It's so nice to see Billie putting the work in with the lyrics for the most part, and the same for Mike's bass lines. I was actually shocked, it's the most melodic and adventurous he's been in a long time.

 

Only song I don't really care for is Corvette Summer, that one definitely feels like a FOAM holdover that was just added as filler for me.

Saviors is si powerful w/ riffs of glam rock and melodies of pop punk 2000. Is similar and even more than Rev Rad. Can't stop play it

So strange it's a pre order you'd expect they'd be in stock for something they'd have up??? I forget when signed copies were first launched but I don't know how they haven't had time. Considering how limited they are it makes me worry if they'll even have one left for me.

Mine is expected to be here Monday. They’re definitely going to be real signatures though, it’s become a more common thing for big artists to sell limited copies of their new albums signed without an upcharge. Several a list names have done the same over the past few years.
