Fuck I love this BBC Session
The sound is amazing and Billie Joe voice is perfect

Agreed! Just listened to Basket Case and it is amazing. Really getting that great rich drum sound and I agree that Billie's vocals are amazing.

I like how they just keep using the same video for every song.

Green Day better have long hair in the next era.

is Billie the one doing the harmonies?

I think he doubled his vocals on the chorus. Sounds like Mike is in there too, just low.

Oh joy, another video of Green Day from 2001 adjusting their ties and looking at their toes.

But hey, they didn't have to do a visual for all of them so I won't complain.

At least it's not the dreaded repeated image lyric video.

Who holds the copyright for these songs and this album? Is it Green Day themselves? Because I am starting to feel like this album may be an attempt to pull a Taylor Swift and own the rights to at least one version of some of their biggest hits. Just a thought.

Apple Music has it listed as BBC under exclusive license to Reprise Records. Reads to me as if the BBC are the rights holders and are allowing Reprise to use and sell the recordings (probably for a cut).

That makes sense. I thought someone here had said Green Day was holding the copyright, and I never really looked into it.
