GuitarPunk94 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 keep in mind this is just the pre-sale, more tickets for every category will be available when general sale starts Quote
Stefano Bras Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 I know but are the PIT tickets the only standing? Quote

And odo you think places are randomly assigned? I entered the waiting room for Wrigley Field 10 minutes before sale. It's a plain page with a 45 second timer counting down to a refresh. Quote We are currently experiencing a higher than usual number of fans attempting to purchase tickets. In an effort to be completely fair to all fans we have developed this Virtual Waiting Room, used to randomly allow access to the ticketing system during busy times such as this when all visitors cannot be served simultaneously. You are currently in the pool to be randomly chosen to enter the site to purchase tickets. When we automatically refresh your browser, the system will randomly determine your status in the virtual waiting room. You will either be randomly selected to continue to your ticket purchase or you will remain in the virtual waiting room. 1 Quote

Paola17 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 For Philly it says: Oh no, they went by fast etc... okay. Sure they did. Quote
pacejunkie punk Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 It went relatively smoothly for me but the hardest part was finding the best seats for Pittsburgh because it's like stubhub you have to scroll through all the tickets and most of them are locked and it was hard to tell where on the map they were. I wish it would show you only the D2C tickets. Anyway, went for it randomly and got field seats in the back sections centerish so that wasn't bad. Cost about $200 a ticket. Also got two pit tickets for the Philly show at $235 each. Damn I spent a lot of money today. And now comes the 11 month wait for this show. Hope the world doesn't end lol 3 1 Quote
gerardsangel4977 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Philly says it is sold out already?? But the second presale only just started! And I wasn't behind that many people in line either 😕 Quote

Jankowski576 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Kind of a bust tbh. 225 for a pit ticket that I didn’t even have the chance to buy despite paying for a presale code? Kinda all around fucked Quote
pacejunkie punk Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Don't trust anything that seems to be sold out. Keep trying. They don't make all tickets available at once and will sell a batch and then release more later. 2 Quote

The Grohl Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 This is hilariously frustrating. I would be way more angry and anxious if I knew for certain I wanted tickets. I'm just trying to see some prices so I can decide if I'm going. 🙄 Quote
HAPPY ZOMBIE UNICORN Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 In case anyone's interested (since there's no thread for the Florence show): I got the confirmation by Ticketmaster that the presale is not valid for Firenze Rocks 😕 1 Quote
zzzambles Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 just got 4 tickets for Houston at $179.50 each, taxes + fees totalling to $894.00 Quote

lucky_stars Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 I couldn’t justify spending $100 (including fees) per ticket for nosebleeds at Citi Field. Not for a show a whole year away... what a bummer. Quote
iWroteHoldenCaulfield84 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 I get sooooo pissed off EVERY year I try to buy Green Day tickets. I have two separate devices running, watching this stupid waiting room countdown timer just keep resetting over and over. Does tickets.com really think it makes sense to have people sitting here, staring at their screen, waiting an hour(s) to be randomly chosen to be able to purchase tickets?? What in the absolute shit-show is this????? Was sitting here, ready to try buy tickets the split-second they went on sale.... just like every other year for the past 14 years of battling for Green Day tickets..... and I already foresee this will be yet ANOTHER year that I have to buy someone's general admission ticket off them for $300 or so like I've had to do the last 6 years. I'm at work right now.... can't be sitting here for long periods of time not doing anything, hoping I get chosen to buy a ticket. So fed up with concert ticket sales. Sorry for the rant. 1 Quote
