Hella Mega Tour with Weezer, Fall Out Boy

the hellamega show in paris will be the last one, do you think they could play sth really special/rare?

i hope they will come back to europe soon again, before the pandemic/hellamega it was 2017 when they last visited us (in germany), a 5 year gap was too much 😅

What kind of time have the shows been ending? I know the London show starts at 4:00pm, just now thinking about when it'll finish (trains are a bit of a nightmare due to strikes)

Around 11 pm for the ones I have been to and is going to. I'm not going to any shows in the UK, but I assume that it will be similar. 🙂

The timetable for Vienna says that Green Day will be on stage at 9:20pm, so I also think about 11pm

On the HM group in FB, one fan has written that he was there for Weezer and yes, they were good but GD were a whole different level.  I just love seeing comments like that!

They always are. No one can compete. Green Day just blows everyone else out of the water! That's how it was at my show too. Totally captivating energy and expert musicianship that is absolutely unmatched by any modern age rock band.

it was the same at rock am ring festival, most people know green day for songs like basket case, bobd, wmuwse (the classics you know)

and everyone i talked to was blown away of their show and energy, yes the setlist is just the hits, as a "diehard" greenday fan i prefer other songs, but for the masses its perfect

many people forgot about GD, with their current show and set they remind everyone what they are capable of, now they just need to release a very good album in the next months, then people will be fully aware of GD in 2022/23 and not like the past 10 years of saying "green day? they are still around?"

 

i may also add that all the other bands at rock am ring festival did great shows, most of them had a lot of fun and a lot of energy, but still GD are always one step better than any other band i see live, its amazing!

i went to rock am ring festival in germany, got covid (but it was worth it, and i am negative now again), and i will see them again in paris for the hellamega show :)

Can't believe it's my HM gig tomorrow 

After almost 3 years since I booked the tickets and watching footage of other HM gigs, it seems so strange that ours is finally going to happen.
