Hermione Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I've never read that article before. It was interesting and kind of revealing too. LOL Yeah it's a good one! Also just noticed they followed up that answer with "Got it. So, BJ..." haha Quote

UNICORN VOMIT Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I would never call him BJ. Not his face anyway. Even though he has it on Blue, it just sounds wrong. Well he is more a BJ than a Bill imo.... Quote
Popular Post Anaïs. Posted February 9, 2015 Popular Post Posted February 9, 2015 Can we call him Billygoat? Billiejoat. 5 Quote
Chin for a Day Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Well he is more a BJ than a Bill imo.... Doesn't it really depend on the words preceding BJ? 1 Quote
Spike Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I love how the only person allowed to call him BJ is 80's dad 4 Quote
That Dude Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I don't know what they would mean by audible, but what is this set list from?? What is the Jolson medley? Did they sing Mammy and Camptown Races??? The OCD in me will point out that medley is spelt wrong. An audible in a set list is a song that can be changed to something else during the show. Sort of a "we could play Jaded, or we could play The Judge's Daughter". 2 Quote
UnoDosLuke_xx Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Does anyone have scans of the Billie Joe/Rolling Stone article from 2013, with the interview based upon his rehab/meltdown stint? Any other scans based upon that of any interviews he gave would be cool too. Quote

Billie says in the interview that that's the only one he's doing on the whole rehab thing, and he's stayed true to that! 2 Quote
Haushinka! Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 This is pretty random and I am not sure if anyone knows this, but has anyone found out who the female voice is in Blood Sex and Booze that says "head down, you understand me?" Just curious. Quote

Hermione Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 She's even credited in the album booklet along with the additional musicians, "Dominatrix - Mistress Simone". Apparently they told the engineer who was her victim, Tone, that he wouldn't get a credit if he didn't do it 3 Quote

Certified Nimrod Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I have a terrible ear for this sort of thing, so what does the rhythm guitar do during the solo in Sex, Drugs & Violence? Quote
Spike Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I have a terrible ear for this sort of thing, so what does the rhythm guitar do during the solo in Sex, Drugs & Violence? E - A - E - A - Ab (for one beat) - E - A - B, twice. Quote
Certified Nimrod Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 E - A - E - A - Ab (for one beat) - E - A - B, twice. Thank you! I was actually just coming on here to say that I figured it out through some weird thing that I might explain later. It's like the first verse, for anyone who's wondering how the chords are played. 1 Quote
HungryHungryModels Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I have a silly question. Why does Billie Joe say "This song is dedicated to everybody who took the train to get here tonight, alright?" for JOS from BIAB? Quote
Guest Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I have a silly question. Why does Billie Joe say "This song is dedicated to everybody who took the train to get here tonight, alright?" for JOS from BIAB? I always thought it was a reference to Joe Strummer's "Last train to 'insert random town/city here' " chant that he used to do during White Man From Hammersmith/Palais. Seen here at about 1.50 I'm probably completely wrong though Quote
