Just listening to one of the Knowledge performances where the guys make people from the audience come up and play. I was wondering if Green Day were the first band/are the only band to do something like that?

Some people have a choking fetish, think that's why he wants to do it . In the original version of the song when they just played it live it didn't mention a name so I think that's all it was, a reference to doing something kinky. Amanda is a name used elsewhere on the albums to refer to an old girlfriend (or at least a character partly based on an old girlfriend) so I think they just added it to tie the song in to the story.

I think he used to say Adrianne instead.

Nah he just said "Adrienne..." before "...it's fuck time" once. He didn't say it before the choking part . He did pretend to choke himself, Kevin Preston and a couple of fans with his microphone cord in a sexy manner during some of those shows though

Hey, quick question for anyone who knows- is the adeline records' store, or the whole thing for that matter- in the process of shutting down? I've been noticing their inventory is getting very limited, and whenever something sells out, it's just gone for good. Not to mention, they have a statement that they are no longer accepting demos.

I must have heard somewhere that the shop was closing but I have no idea how about the record label. Looks like they're calling it quits.

Pretty sure it's 'fuck' - since he 'fucked up' a couple of times.  Makes a lot me sense to me than four at least.  Don't know what the general opinion is of that bit of the song is - for me it's a little touch but it's one of those things which adds a huge amount to the song.

I saw this on YouTube and the poster claims it's a new GD song. It sort of sounds like Billie, but not a lot. Does anyone know anything about this?
