jordanlolss Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 This should be a good interview... Howard has always been known to ask the really personal questions that no other interview would ever ask, so I'm expecting some personal stuff to come out of this one.

I can't confirm this but that's what the user said. I'm really excited for this show in Wednesday though.

I haven't listened to every second of his show, but I have heard him talk about them and when I heard him, he always talked nicely. He really loved Oh Love and talked about it alot. I am excited as well.
WhiteTim Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 They were both on AGT when the trilogy came out they did Oh Love also Stern's team usually post videos on YouTube they did for Metallicas performances last week so I'm just assuming they'll do the same on GD

I remember there was talk of tattoos but Howard was talking about a tattoo of a shark with a baby's head in its jaws or something the interview isn't on my phone so I'll have a look on my computer later!
greendepent Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 So this program is only online? Hope they play something new

Mato Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 That's awesome! I love Howard Hope there'll be a video of performance at least. I've been dying to see the actual video of them in the studio since I heard their interview from back in nimrod days.
stories and songs Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Oh Love really doesn't translate well on TV. That AGT performance seemed so boring for them. Regardless, Howard Stern seems like a much better fit for them than AGT anyway, so yay!
lizziebix Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Never listen to Stern. But will make an exception for GD.

He really liked it. He said it was a kick ass song.
stories and songs Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 @Scattered Wreck Very true. I love how supportive he is of them. Me and Oh Love just don't have a great relationship, that's all.

So, I remember the day after they performed on AGT, Howard was saying how much he loves Green Day. However, he did make fun of Billie Joe the day after iHeart. That was obviously before we knew about rehab. But I remember all those old interviews, he obviously liked them back in the day and I'm sure it'll be a really fun interview. And I definitely expect him to probe more personally into BJA's rehab experience/life than anyone else has.

I will admit I haven't listened that much in recent years, but I have never heard him say anything bad about them. Yes, he was making fun of Billie after iHeart, but everyone was.

I guess this is the performance of Platypus they did. FUCKING EPIC! Ugh I would kill to hear this song live!

Seriously, he is probably one of the best interviewers ever. He can get a great interview out of almost anyone. I'm really looking forward to hearing him interview GD at this stage of both of their careers. Howard will probably not ask them which celebrities they fucked.
