Cracks me up how they're playing looking all badass and serious and as soon as the song ends, Billie immediately transforms into a tiny smiley dork.

Just realized that when introducing them Jimmy stated , "and rock and roll hall of fame inductees"

Oh, that feels so good to hear !

Is it just me or did Billie's voice sound a bit hoarse?

@Kaddi. Sounded a bit raw to me. Not bad, just deeper and a little scratchy. Honestly didn't sound super different from the performances of the song at recent concerts, though—this was just an instance when his voice was easier to hear.

It's on DIME, 1080i version, 433MB.

I don't understand why both Howard Stern and Jimmy Fallon have uploaded a video of Metallica performing on their official YouTube page but both have ignored Green Day? That's strange.

Can't decides what looks more badass.

Billie or his guitar.

Loving the LP customs on this tour. They are so fucking cool.

It was shown on German TV last night. Really enjoyed seeing them on tv again. Like they really are back again. :)

I tried watching the YouTube video but it says it was taken down for copyrights :(

I wonder if the vinyls that Tre threw into the crowd are also skipping the first 2 songs

First thought when I started watching a video: wow, they seem so young

Performance was very decent imo, in accordance with the audience they played for.

first time I've watched an entire episode of Fallon. Worth the cringe, the performance was dope.

the sound (for musical performances) on the tonight show has always left something to be desired... this one sounded waaaay over compressed. billies vocal was crystal clear, but the instruments, especially the drums, were muddled. im hoping they do colbert soon, but kimmel will likely be the next late night stop, with them going back to CA and all.

but it was fuckin' GREAT seeing them back on late night tv. gimmie more!
