Were there people that honestly had not heard the album yet?  What was the reaction?

The event was alright. I've never been to the Hard Rock cafe before so that was pretty cool. The music was hard to hear. They had us in a small section and there wasn;t seats for half of us there so we just all decided to spread out the entire restaurant after awkwardly standing there for a while. I probably would've enjoyed it more if I wasn't so shy but oh well always next time.  Free T-Shirts and a free poster made up for the hard to hear album. It was the first time my friend has heard the album and he said it was different but he loved it.

I havn't heard the album , i wanted to save myself for the 7th ahaha . Im not sure about everyone else, we were all just sitting in a room awkwardly listening to the album nodding our heads here and there. we got posters and a shirt. There was a raffle for their rolling stone cover in poster form and tickets to a 'smaller' show they havn't announced yet in LA.

You went to the listening party and didn't listen???  What did you do put ear plugs in??

I was at the one in NYC and they played the album over dinner, which made it was less awkward than listening parties can sometimes be. It was a mix of quiet moments listening to album and time spent talking to other fans during dinner, so it was fun to hear everyone's stories on how they got into the band and their favorite records and such. I really enjoyed the album (I hadn't listened to any of the leaks, last night was my first listen to the album in full) and I can't wait to hear it again on Friday!
