Can we please just talk about that extended solo during American Idiot? That was phenomenal!

What a nice Green Day show:D Going there would have been totally worth it. I would have kicked all their asses into participating. I'm disappointed that they won neither Best Live or Best Rock, but I'm so so happy to have finally seen them again on stage, taking an award with them. And TWO separate Green Day performances!! We received more than I was hoping for.

They looked so good, they sounded excellent and Billie's speech in the end was just so so fucking fitting and even adorable, I mean did you hear his nervous "um"s? He's just such a sweetheart and a dork.

Thanks to the GDC I've spent another night laughing at jokes and commenting on the performances. GD are best rock also because of us, guys. I wonder if Coldplay fan base followed the EMA as we did. I don't think so. And that's a fact.

FYI it's on at 8 pm ET in the US on MTV and an encore right after.

No, we decided to only go when signs for a secret show would have been more concrete. It's a 5 hour drive plus costs for a hotel and I thought it would be more worth it to save the money for the tour while it wasn't sure to get the chance to actually see them tonight without attending the awards.

That BB girl and the slutty angel probably just liked Coldplay better.

They are so much better than anyone else.  They aren't going to win if people don't vote.

I have to admit I am proud of them and Santa is actually looking at a little drum kit for him. I do however draw the line at the hair dye just yet lol

Well my 5 year old son is going to love watching those performances tomorrow, they played his 2 favourite songs

Haha. Doing well on the child raising. My 2,5 year old son loves I Believe In Godess by NOFX.... okay... just for the "BLEH!" at the end of the song.... but hey.... I'm getting somewhere :)

Trying to introduce Hitchin' A Ride to him now. It's a good song for kids. It's fun to shake their heads on.

I have to admit, I did quite well. I probably knew Boulevard of Broken Dreams by heart when I was 6.

My friends are going to think I'm a crazy psycho fan when they ask me what I did today lol!

On the MTV angle, I hope they do that World Stage recording of Green Day next year. At a non-festival show though, the 21CB one was amazing

Yes, hopefully in Cologne in January 2017:rolleyes:

Oh, didn't realize you were that far.  Makes sense to hang back and save up for a proper tour and when you know for sure you'll see them.
