I really like it. It's different to Bang Bang, but it's not bad at all. It really reminds me of a mix between Warning and an American Idiot b-side like Hearts Collage or Lights Out.

I like it a lot. Lyrics leave a bit to be desired, but I like how this album sounds so far and it's refreshing to have a concise, straight forward idea again.

I just really hope this album has some variety to it, because I can easily see this sound quickly strung thin if lasts throughout the entire album's length. 

To me personally, neither of the two songs released sound much in the way of potential GD classics, not even X-Kid level.

Green Day release new track ‘Revolution Radio’

Following on from ‘Bang Bang‘, a track about “the culture of mass shooting that happens in America mixed with narcissistic social media,” Green Day have released the title track to their new album ‘Revolution Radio‘.

The track, a call to arms against many of the same issues, sees the band back at their twitching, anthemic best. Check it out below.

This, this and this. Took me a few listens to really get a feel for it. Definitely a Green Day song. So bad ass.

And i'm really REALLY loving how heavy the guitars are sounding in the past two singles.

It doesn't really hit me as much of a "single" track. Feels like it should've remained a deep cut.

well i buckled as I'm waiting for the iPhone 7 pre orders to start i needed something to distract me so iTunes it and first listen it's ok not horrible but didn't grab me at first listen like Bang Bang I'm sure more repeated listens it'll grow more on me

It sounds like something you would hear on 21st century breakdown to me. Maybe it's the lone guitar that makes me think that.

dude i just got the track through email for buying the album off of the band website.  If you did the same thing, wait a few minutes and you'll get it in email.

OKAYYYYYYYY the actual lyrics are so much fucking better.

"debutantes in surgery" is so much better than "dead guitars and surgery"

"legalize the truth" is so much better than "we call lies the truth"

I just heard the song for the first time and it's good. I think Bang Bang was just a little bit more exciting for me the first time but I'm sure this is going to grow on me pretty quickly. Definitely getting a Coming Clean vibe from this song musically.

Quickly falling in love with it here. Damn potent lyrics -- "inspired" doesn't do it justice. Haven't seen this kind of raw fury from BJ since Breakdown.
