Popular Post okotavio Posted August 11, 2016 Popular Post Posted August 11, 2016 I was REALLY surprised of how good it is. This is the first time as a fan I'm suprised this way by a new song. I loved KYE and Oh Love, the singles I saw being released, but none of them compares to Bang Bang. I'm so proud of them and for being their fan for 8 years now. 5 Quote
Libertine Angel Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I'm just imagining being in a pit as Billie shouts "hey-oh" over the intro and an arena (or preferably a club) full of people shouting "WORLD WAR ZERO". Is it October yet? Quote
sara_gd Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I love when the chorus before the bridge comes, it's so full of energy I never expect it to be like that and I get a kick! I wouldn't know what's my favourite part/lyric but that definitely stands out. Quote

Also I love how Billie sings "lullaby of memories". And that whole verse for that matter. Fuck, the whole fucking thing. Shit, you're right. Was it you who mentioned this before? I must have been thinking about that and got mixed up 1 Quote

bagelfeet Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 It's been years since I've posted here but holy shit what a comeback for Green Day. Me and my girlfriend first connected over Green Day and this is our first single as a couple. It's a pretty great moment. But anyway, I'm so excited for this new record and Green Day's first release after being inducted to the hall of fame too. Awesome return for the band, couldn't be more excited! Quote

WalkingContradictionPL Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 This song is fabulous. Bang Bang reminds me a mix of some Farben Lehre songs. It's pretty funny as Farben Lehre is called "Polish Green Day" 1 Quote
Sixtrix Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Considering it is self-produced makes this song even more awesome. They did a pretty good fucking job making such an awesome song. I can only hope the rest of the album is just as wonderful. 4 Quote
Malleus Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I love this song. Oh my god, this is exactly the song I wanted!!! It sounds so GOOD, my god. No more will we be overusing the word "overproduced." But yeah, Bang Bang is awesome. The cover art is awesome. Can't believe that tracklist was real hahaha. So excited!!!! Ahhh 1 Quote
Asik Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 How are you guys digging it? ITs okay and nothing special and nothing new. I expected something mindblowing from Billie. Something that will change the music era. I dont think this song will be hit. Slightly dissapointed. Hope Revrad will be more diverse sonically 2 Quote
XxXxXxXxX Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 The more I listen to this song the more I love it. That 10 second span of Tre's drum solo followed by "I wanna be a celebrity martyr, the little man in my own private drama" has become one of my favorite verses of any Green Day song. 4 Quote
Psycho Britney Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Wow! I absolutely love the song, welcome back boys! The beginning of 'Bang Bang' reminds me of 'St. Jimmy'. I love the line 'I'm sweating bullets like a modern romeo'. 2 Quote
Popular Post gdsaurus_lex Posted August 11, 2016 Popular Post Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) I seriously cannot wait to start playing this on the drums. I've been listening to it on repeat and every time it gets better and better. Edited August 11, 2016 by gdsaurus_lex 5 Quote
Libertine Angel Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 The phrase "private glory" reminds me of something, I think from AI but maybe 21CB, but I can't place it. Also I can't remember if I mentioned it before but I get a real California Uber Alles vibe in some parts (which is funny since East Jesus Nowhere stole its ending). 2 Quote

Popular Post belinda jane Posted August 11, 2016 Popular Post Posted August 11, 2016 i seriously couldn't even sleep last night, i was so pumped up. i've literally had it on repeat all morning, i just can't get over how great of a first single this is. let's be honest - i probably would have loved anything they released, but the fact that even if i wasn't a massive green day fan i'd dig this super hard really says a lot! 5 Quote

Probably both. 3 hours ago, Cheap Escape said: I have to say, it's a little surprising that the video isn't up on YouTube yet. Perhaps they're waiting until later in the day to publish it, in order to have an excuse to post it again on their Facebook page. Or they might want to keep the traffic focused on one place. Regardless, it would be unwise to wait much longer, in my humble opinion. I think it's smart to do that. Facebook first 'cause that's the social media platform that can reach most people nowadays. And they do have a ton of likes. 1 Quote
MillenniumFan Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I wonder if they're going to upload a music video or that lyric video of the song to YouTube, I think not doing that would be unwise. Today virtually everyone checks out new songs on YouTube, they might be missing an opportunity here... Other than that, I love the song, I just hope it and the Album sell well... 4 Quote
Emilie Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I cba reading through 22 pages but damn I liked this song. thhe beginning was very saint jimmy, and there was a line halfway through that sounded very similar to a line from Christians inferno. That threw me off but I still liked it 1 Quote
chrism17 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 This might already be in my top 5 Green day songs. Absolutely love it. Quote
