I was REALLY surprised of how good it is. This is the first time as a fan I'm suprised this way by a new song. I loved KYE and Oh Love, the singles I saw being released, but none of them compares to Bang Bang.

I'm so proud of them and for being their fan for 8 years now.

I love when the chorus before the bridge comes, it's so full of energy I never expect it to be like that and I get a kick! I wouldn't know what's my favourite part/lyric but that definitely stands out.

It's been years since I've posted here but holy shit what a comeback for Green Day. Me and my girlfriend first connected over Green Day and this is our first single as a couple. It's a pretty great moment. But anyway, I'm so excited for this new record and Green Day's first release after being inducted to the hall of fame too. Awesome return for the band, couldn't be more excited!

This song is fabulous. Bang Bang reminds me a mix of some Farben Lehre songs. It's pretty funny as Farben Lehre is called "Polish Green Day"

The more I listen to this song the more I love it. That 10 second span of Tre's drum solo followed by "I wanna be a celebrity martyr, the little man in my own private drama" has become one of my favorite verses of any Green Day song.

Wow! I absolutely love the song, welcome back boys! The beginning of 'Bang Bang' reminds me of 'St. Jimmy'. I love the line 'I'm sweating bullets like a modern romeo'.

The phrase "private glory" reminds me of something, I think from AI but maybe 21CB, but I can't place it.

 

Also I can't remember if I mentioned it before but I get a real California Uber Alles vibe in some parts (which is funny since East Jesus Nowhere stole its ending).

Today virtually everyone checks out new songs on YouTube, they might be missing an opportunity here... Other than that, I love the song, I just hope it and the Album sell well...

I cba reading through 22 pages but damn I liked this song.

thhe beginning was very saint jimmy, and there was a line halfway through that sounded very similar to a line from Christians inferno. That threw me off but I still liked it

This might already be in my top 5 Green day songs. Absolutely love it.
