Ruskaeth Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Just now, Hermione said: I'm glad I only found out about this now and wasn't waiting for it, how annoying . Hope it turns out to be happening. Me too, just woke up and read the news... And now waitiiiingg
UNICORN VOMIT Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 21 minutes ago, Ruskaeth said: Just said its coming up tonight, so must be still on! What did it say as the website says.... "We will have someone from the band on the hotline on Friday" Green Day have posted the music video for “Bang Bang.” It’s pretty cool and you can watch it here. The band’s focus on gun violence in America, which Green Day highlighted when they premiered the song “Bang Bang” is clearly in evidence with the Tim Armstrong-directed video as well, though, notably, no shots are fired. The new video debuted yesterday, Sep 13th, and it features a trio of bandits who look like Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool a la Point Break with rubber masks. The bank robbery they pull off is interspersed with shots of the band raging in their living room. Then things get complicated. And even more meta. The song is the first single from their forthcoming album Revolution Radio, due out Oct 7th. We will have someone from the band on the hotLine on Friday.
Ruskaeth Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 "Also today, Paulie Walnuts will be chatting with Mike Dirnt of Green Day. This will mark out very first Green Day chat behind this new album. Be listening for a special edition of hardDrive weekend Oct 8-9 when we spotlight both Green Day AND Metallica in one big ROCK AIN’T DEAD special edition!" Ok, they just moved the interview to friday? And to Mike.
stories and songs Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 So did this happen? Very strange. I feel like it didn't happen again. Is this show known for not being the best with scheduling or something?
Ruskaeth Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Really weird. I heard him saying wednesday that green day is on tonight and then...nothing. Thursday and friday, they play some Green Day songs and talk few words of how excited he is for the new album....aaaand then nothing. I did not listen all the time, obviously, but did not hear anything fron GD themselved. Really good music there though ^^
Hermione Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Thanks for listening and reporting back! What a shambles.
