An arrest in the end would just further the commentary imo: they think they've pleased Green Day, their idols, but then have to watch as the guys get blamed for their crime. Maybe??

I like this video, though it seems to be a low-cost production but it's really ok. Quickly changing camera, gloomy climate while band's playing. Maybe the rubbery story doesn't match the rest, but the video is generally decent, nothing special but I didn't expect much.
