Stefano Bras Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I think it was a great video, taking a different approach to what's the song is about was a cool idea and I was already expecting it since music videos usually are very different to the lyrics and what's the song is about. The only thing that bugs me is (like @Second favourite son said) that they used the same exact bank as the one in Pierce The Veil's King For a Day, even the same camera angle when they enter the bank... I guess Green Day we're mad they copy the title 'King For a Day' so they copied they're video concept.

Minority103 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I was watching the video with my dad and he noticed a similarity with a film from 1991 called Point Break - Fina Heist, here's the link to the scene: Spoiler This film is directed by Kathryn Bigelow and the main characters are a gang of robbers who wear face-masks depicting former US ex presidents Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Jimmy Carter to disguise their true identities (Of course Nixon made me think of 21stCB). In the film there is also a part where the robbers throw to people all the money stoled like the last part of the videoclip. It's just an idea of course

Half expected them to actually be filming a music video for an entirely different song. Definitely hope RevRad has a sort of continuation of this video. Mike is wearing a Danger vest, is that Jakob's band Danger, or something else entirely?

Thatsername Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I'm relieved that they didn't use the mass shooter subject in the video. This would have been very hard to visualize. I'm quite happy that they chose a much lighter topic for the video. Plus, a song always leaves room for interpretation, so although we know that it is about mass shooters because Billie told us, it can mean 1000 different things at the same time. That's the cool thing about music - or art in general. But like some of you said, I also expected a different ending - I thought there would be some shooting, too ;-) But I really like it, it's great to see them so powerful, healthy and happy. And the Danger T-Shirt might be a birthday present for Jakob?
