I live in CT, on the NY border and it is a local alternative station, 103.7, but it has a very limited range

Thanks.  I wish this was on mainstream radio, because it could so easily be a hit with the masses.  I'm sick of my friends being like "Green Day is still a band?"

NME have released their 50 essential records from 2016 and Green Day come in at number 12 with Revolution Radio (is that 12/50 or 39? I'm not sure)

Revolution Radio is #3 in the UK rock album chart. No singles from Rev Rad are in the rock songs chart.

Revolution Radio is at No. 76 on the Billboard 200, up from 109 last week and currently No. 43 on the Top Album Sales chart, up from 58

Was at Walmart, always look to see what GD albums they have just to see. Said on the thing above RevRad that it was #5 on Walmart's album chart thing, not that it matters. Just thought I'd mention it, it should be doing way better, people just don't buy music, it's lame. Going to buy my gf's mom the album for Xmas and probably my bassist too since they got tickets to upcoming shows but don't have the album. Perfect gift!

Guys, we have some good news:

Still Breathing finally entered the top ten in the Alternative Billboard chart, at #8!

It did better than Working Class Hero, that peaked at #10, and it's just one place under Welcome to Paradise, second single from Dookie.

Talking about other charts, #9 on the Mainstream Rock and #7 on the Rock Airplay.

This is definitely good compared to the second and the third single of the trilogy. In fact Let Yourself Go peaked at #17 on the Alternative, while Kill the DJ didn't chart on anything but the UK 200 singles.

Hopefully SB will still increase. And here in Italy they're starting to play it on the radio frequently. Let's see...

Still Breathing is probably so far the most successful single that wasn't a lead single since 21 Guns. I'd like to see it chart well in some other countries too however, like Bang Bang did

Do you think it will become a hit? I'm not saying like BOBD or WMUWSE but at least something relevant for the radio (KYE or 21 Guns for example)...

I'm not sure. The fact that it's still rising in the charts is a good sign. Hopefully it'll be a good while before it stops. If GD start promoting it more e.g performing it on TV, then it'll do even better. So I think SB still has a lot more to give. It should be able to top the main rock/alternative charts in the US. If it gets onto the Hot 100 that'll be great

I feel like RevRad is so good that any attention will never be enough. It's not the album itself that it's great, but the difficult context in which it was written.

Well, grabbing two more albums when I do Xmas shopping tomorrow, one for my bassist and one for the girlfriends mom. I want people to listen to it! It takes many listens for it to make it's full impression.

Actually, I was so excited with the first listen that I didn't sleep that night.

I meant people who don't follow the band quite like us. I loved it on first listen and more and more every time. Some people I have showed it to, just don't really care for it. They just need to give the full album a couple listens, it isn't very long. But they aren't going to buy it on their own. Good Xmas gift!
