I think mine is cooler, but you would have to be a really old fan like me to get it. Not to pat myself too hard on the back or anything, right?

if you patted yourself any harder on the back you'd probably cause yourself spinal damage, not gonna lie. I'M NOT GOING TO ASK YOU WHAT IT MEANS THOUGH, I don't want to give you the satisfaction :P

Haha, that's exactly what I was going for, well done. For the new kids on the block, Timmy Chunks was their roadie from the Dookie-Warning eras. He may have been around during the Lookout days but that was before my time. He finally had his 10 seconds when he was in the Good Riddance video. Unfortunately, he disappeared shortly after the Warning tour but I expect he is doing just fine :)

They are really giving a personal feel with all these ig posts and unscripted fb tours. They seem very relaxed and excited.

It's amazing to see the stark contrast between the promotion of the trilogy and this era. The trilogy, based on its early descriptions, was supposed to be the more "carefree" effort that was totally hyped up to be more epic than it ended up being. Everything seemed forced. In hindsight, even the interviews seem a bit odd and insincere. This era, so far, has had minimal hype outside of some cryptic Instagram teasing, dropping a single and this awkward-as-fuck Facebook live stream, but I'm already 100 percent convinced this album is going to be epic. Everything seems genuine and really inspired without them even trying too hard.

Disclaimer: Not trying to turn this into a trilogy-bashing session. If you loved it, cool, but it's a fairly obvious observation to anyone who's witnessed both promotion cycles.

ALSO, obligatory "Billie Joe is hot as hell" post. Daaaaayum.

But the bathroom microphone though... do they record in that tiny room for the way it sounds or is it there just in case they get inspiration while taking a dump? I'm no musician, maybe sitting on the john relaxes them for a good session.

Only if they're recording Dookie.

Sorry, I had to... :P

"how does this facebooking work", felt so genuine. Like many parents trying to keep up with all apps and socialmedia thingies and new tech: curious but no idea how the stuff work. 😊

This was so damn cute I've missed their awkwardness.

Really cute. 😊 I hope the awkwardess didn't scare them off (I doubt it did) and they keep doing this! Best thing ever and finally something interesting in fb! 😀

And I LOVE how the whole band is pulling all the publicity weight together.  It's not just all on Billie anymore and the results so far are delightful!

Totally loved this, so good to see them all looking so well [ok, gorgeous], relaxed and happy.  They seemed really excited too!  What a day 😃👌

The video was dorky but I fucking loved it. It was nice to see them talking about how they were doing things differently. OTIS seems like a nice relaxed environment for them to take their time on the record and it really shows.

Definitely hoping for more of these videos.

I'd imagine they record there to isolate the sound, like studios would have a vocal booth and such.

Also it's funny thinking the awkward guy who doesn't know how to behave in front of the camera is the same guy screaming "daddy's little psycho and mummy's little soldier".

They were definitely improvising  but it was so nice just seeing the guys hanging out and having fun in the studio. They looked so good too. Loved it! :)

I want that Revolution Radio Flag! Would look badass in my garage :D

Mike is SO adorable! I just wish he had talked a little more, because I absolutely love his voice, he's so posh and soft. /fangirl

I love that they did this. Live streamings for fans have been a thing for years now, and I'm glad they jumped on the wagon and made an effort to interact with the fans. It was a little awkward, but that's just because they didn't have much prepared. It was kind of a studio tour, and I like it because we get to have a clearer picture of what they do, how they work... I loved the little room up there, because it looks like a great place to hang out. It really reinforced my impression that they LOVE being together and playing music, so they just hang out and see what comes out of that. However, they wouldn't have seemed as awkward if they were doing a quick Q&A or something more concrete and organized.
