Ruskaeth Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 They are really giving a personal feel with all these ig posts and unscripted fb tours. They seem very relaxed and excited. Somehow I got a feeling they have been watching us at the same time we have tried to figure out what is going on with them and the new record. Anyway, I loved the otis tour. More live facebookings please!

Do you think the bit of piano that BJ played could be from a song in the new album? Or just random? I suppose when you've been playing something for a while, when you go to the instrument it's natural to start playing that (at least that happens to me). Yes it's Chris. Yes I'm fairly positive that was just Billie messing around for two seconds on piano not actually attempting to play anything whatsoever.
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 He played a beggining of a 21CB song then messed up - Last Night On Earth This was funny and felt nicely personal. I loved how they were so awkward and then just started messing with the jukebox. Also, "keep bang banging" was the best and the worst way they could end it.

Stefano Bras Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 This is so adorable HAHAHA. they were so awkward the entire thing, fucking hell I missed these guys.
Sarcasm Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I downloaded the vid from mega and was like "fuck, someone recorded it off of their monitor. Oh well, serves me right for missing it" thank fuck it was uploaded properly
heart on a noose Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 This video is like an old loving friend who has been away and now is back and excited to see you but doesn't know what to say first so everything feels so awkward. Love it.

UNICORN VOMIT Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 They are the best kind of awkward dorks - no other way to explain them.

Very different from any other video/interview we've gotten recently where they always seem to know exactly what to say or do. Here they just went for it with, nothing planned, just experimenting this new thing and inviting us to check it out with them. I honestly felt as if I was there with them. So nice!
TimmyChunks Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Interested to know why they switched from Jingletown to Otis- maybe to start with a clean slate? Also, I love the off the cuff interviews with these guys- I remember being a teenager and listening to their interview on Modern Rock Live way past my bed time with my headphones, hoping my parents wouldn't hear...and thinking, "goddamn, not only is their music awesome, they're funny as hell!". So psyched for this record. Bang Bang is the best song I've heard in a long time. That says a lot, I've been recycling through Bad Religion, Ramones, Misfits, etc. endlessly recently and the shit they put out today was on a new level. 5 hours ago, Brooklyn Baby said: I have to ask, who did you have to murder to get that username?! I think mine is cooler, but you would have to be a really old fan like me to get it. Not to pat myself too hard on the back or anything, right?
