my country won't have the album for the next 2 months probably and i will buy it anyway so i decided to listen. 

It's different.strange.if you don't like different don't listen to it..

my favorite is Ordinary World. it's so beautiful , it will effect you even if you are hard rocker. if it doesn't... that's fine you're heartless.

I think this is one of the reasons opinions are so varied. It's just not what a lot people expected so will take some adjustment, not that it's bad.

Very generic in first listen. Need to listen to it more to see if I like it or not. The second half of the album seemed very boring though.

After Forever Now I need to listen to homecoming 10 times in a row to feel good about six plus minutes songs again.

It's very difficult to digest a full album on first listen. Definetly appreciating the songs more on 3rd and 4th listen.

At this point, everyone should make their own judgment.

Literally everyone have different opinions, some people hate certain songs and others love those same songs... Just listen and enjoy guys.

I fuckin' love the album at first listening 

 The only thing I didn't like is that the voice seems slow at some points and the "slow beginning/ hard developing" formula is used too much.

Just first listening:

Very well chosen the singles, definitely they are the best songs off the album.

Beside Still Breathing and RevRad my favs are: Somewhere Now, Bouncing Off the Wall and Forever Now

Youngblood is the poorest song, and I love it, for me is like She's A Rebel pt.II

 

I love the album, from 1 to 10, for me is better than 8.

I love the diversity and how different it is from everything they've done don't know but that was always what I loved about Green Day the never continue on a road they're jumping tracks 😁

Youngblood kind of reminds me of Toublemaker by Weezer.

Not a huge fan of the record, but I'll give it a few more listens. Outlaws is probably my favourite song on there, and Ordinary World is alright as well. Some songs felt like a chore to listen to (Forever Now, Bouncing Off the Walls, Youngblood). I came into this expecting more songs like Revolution Radio which I enjoyed sonically, so that bias might've affected how I listened to the songs. 

That being said, Bouncing off the Walls is the longest 2.5 minute song I've ever listened to. 

Initial Top 5:

Outlaws - 8.5/10
Still Breathing - 8/10
Revolution Radio - 7/10
Bang Bang - 7/10
Ordinary World - 6.5/10

Listened through three times now. I like it! A album with lots of variety. You definitely need to listen to it more then once to really get a good opinion. Dont be put off by the comments at the beginning of this thread!!! A solid 7.5/10 from me at the moment. Might change to an 8/10 after another listen!
