I don't understand why people dislike the title Revolution Radio. I'd like to see anyone come up with a better title for a Green Day album. All green day albums have had good names except Uno, Dos, Tré and possibly 39/smooth (Idk if it's bad or not but idk what 39/smooth means. It seems like a random title) and this title is just as good as the rest

39/Smooth got its title from Billie's brother (David I think) who had just turned 39 and the guys thought he was "smooth"

Wow, just imagine if our youth got this involved in global warming, politics, Illuminati, etc... and just put down their cell phones for 2 days.... read some noam chomsky, maybe even become positive activists in their communities instead of using all their time and energy on what this album is going to be about and all that jazz that comes with it.  It could be an extraordinary world.

Just had about 20 mg of ativan and a 12 pack = I like to rant.  MUAH

Possibly, though I'd be much more inclined to if there was actually a decent choice. I'll probably anyway, just to help prevent the spread of the spray tanned idiot from hell.

So, let's get back to discussing the Revolution Radio album.  There is a  thread about the vote coming up.  Feel free to move your discussion there if you care to continue.  Thanks.  :)

I love chomsky, currently reading "government in the future" - off topic, I know.

It actually does. :) It also seems like the proper successor to 21st Century Breakdown, making the trilogy seem a bit more like a side project.

Haha agreed but let's listen to it first before :P it does look like a return after an intermezzo. A very nice list to look at.

I assume we're just happy to know there is more after the Trilogy. Seeing RevRad at the end of the list makes it more distant, and somehow less of a disappointment.

Guys, remember the ''Revolution Radio'' codes that were found yesterday on Green Day's official website? Well, they've disappeared.

No surprise considering they don't want the beans to be spilled prematurely. It must be hidden better now.

What if they put Revolution Radio in the code as a red herring after seeing our speculation and the album's actually called something else? :woot:

That would be quite some trolling!

Well, they could be trolling crearly, wouldnt be the first ime, but it doesnt seems the case this time, at least for me.
Revolution Radio is fine, and they have been teasing that for a while! And to think that the name sounds really F#cking cool, i seriously want this album to be titled RR.

So... Revolution Radio is the album name? Huh... Kinda getting the trilogy vibe from the name overall, and a reference to when they finally hit it big with Dookie and started to get radio plays. I dunno what it means specifically, but I'll keep an open mind, since, y'know, if it's been three years since their last album, one cannot be picky. :P

I am not expecting anything, but I'm sure Warner Brothers is hoping for something big.
