they failed cause mostly of Billie's absent some on the promo but the label can't be blamed for that fully and foolish to do that

and to be fair if the trilogy was one album we wouldn't know about the other songs we know they did about 80 songs for the trilogy we don't know what the other 43 songs sounds like just like we don't know the 42 songs that weren't used for 21stCB sound like if the trilogy was just a single album nothing would change

Yeah, probably but I'm glad they didn't, lots of peopele would've never heard some of their favourites songs off the trilogy.

I'm looking forward especially to the the long track on the list, I love how they do  multi-movement epic songs. I also wonder how they arranged Ordinary World; is it going to be straight up acoustic like his performance at the Geezer premiere, or will there be some extra touches, like strings maybe?

And Billie Joe played the piano for two seconds on their facebook tour of OTIS, so I'm encouraged that we may hear some piano on a song or too...

Billie said in the Rolling Stone interview that he played a lot of Bow guitar this time around. I'm pumped and nervous to see how that turned out in the end!

Really feel like I need the art booklet because I believe the art within that is going to be so much better than the album cover

I mean, have we already ruled out the possibility that the logo and the title will be on the cover? I find it hard to believe they won't to be honest.

The cover that's on iTunes and Amazon is the one without the text though.

for some reason i can't imagine too much piano on this album, but I could actually see some piano working pretty well in Ordinary World

Ordinary World is going to be a lovely ending:)

Replace "Call me irresponsible" in No one knows with "Revolution radio" and speed up the song. Would sound so good.

Lol that does fit well. I'll be thinking of that whenever I listen to that line now :P

I fully agree, but its just the cover, think about previous Artworks, i'm quite sure you'll find at least one which is worse than this one.

Ah ok, thanks for clearing that out, i thought he was maybe involved in some way.

I don't care about it so much. I usually don't buy physical copies anyway so it's not much of a concern for me :P

It's the music that matters anyway. That's the only important thing.

It had better be or else I'd want my money back :P

I'm personally very curious to hear Revolution Radio, Too Dumb To Die and Troubled Times. The titles and Billie's descriptions are very promising in my humble opinion.

Random observation (don't know if it's been mentioned already): Youngblood is the sole track marked 'explicit' on iTunes.

I feel like this has already been mentioned like 10 times on this message board through various threads

Any chance in hell of getting some Mike or Tre lead vocals?  Tre hasn't got to drop a verse in 12 years, and Mike hasn't had a whole verse in 7!   I get it, Billie Joe is the lead singer, but it couldn't hurt to let them sing lead on either a verse or a chorus of ONE song.    American Eulogy is a great track.   Homecoming is an EPIC track.

Homecoming gives me all the feels. I could get overly emotional with that song easily hahaha. Love American Eulogy too! Omg I remember in 2009 on their 21 CB tour, they would rotate that song in/out on various nights. And the night I went I was hoping so bad that it would be one of the nights they included it in their set, and they DID! And I flipped out when they started playing it!  aw memories  ok sorry it's been too long and feelings are rushing back. Green Day does that to us. Damn them.

But they've proved before that not every track has to be "Fucking fucking fucking fucking shit wanking fucking fuck."

I'm sure RR isn't the only GD album with only one, or at least very few, explicit tracks. They don't actually swear that much, it just so happens that the ones where they do swear stick out...and that's probably why!

That's very much true. Their Lookout records are almost completely bereft of swearing. Only the Trilogy (in my opinion) had excessive swearing in some songs (particularly on Dos!).

Sorry if I've missed it, but have the track lengths been confirmed?
