I don't know if it's been said yet, but Outlaws sounds eerily similar to The Fratellis' Lupe Brown. Like, a crazy amount. They're my second favourite band so I'm incredibly happy having discovered this, and Billie has mentioned in the past that he's a fan of them. I can only hope one day that they would open for them, but that would be such a reach.

(I tried searching for an album version but they've been taken off YouTube, but this live version is near spot-on to the album). I'm not crazy right? You guys hear it too?

I'm in love with Insomniac and it's still my least favourite Green Day album.

I have bang bang, still breathing and botw

Still Breathing, Too Dumb to Die & Troubled Times are the only real stinkers on here. This is a decent Green Day record.

But Still Breathing is probably the best song :P

This was my first time listening to this album. I feel like if it were 2006 just after American Idiot, there would be a huge audience that would totally dig this. But it just doesn't flow the way I'd expect, maybe it'll grow on me, some of my favorite albums of this year took quite a few listens before they became favorites.

Only two real songs jumped out during first listen.. still breathing is still dope, stupid poppy, but i dig it. Young Blood was the first time i heard mike's bass talents shine through, which as great.

This music I feel would be great as an on stage musical, if the lyrics were tied together a little better. Theres a certain visual aspect of the album I enjoy, but not in the same way I'd enjoy a Green Day album...if that makes any sense.

I defs need a few more listens before I make any final conclusions..

Cheesiest song they've ever done. I appreciate the message of the song and all, but yikes at the actual music.

No that would be Youngblood

Troubled Times is still my favorite, but damn Forever Now is making a run for the top

I loooove Too Dumb to Die. The hook is so catchy.

I still don't understand how people can honestly believe it's their best song. Catchy or not, it's just not on the level of songs like JOS, Basket Case, Longview, Hitchin' A Ride, etc.

RevRad is growing on me but I swear most of you hate the songs I like from the album lol.

I think Still Breathing is very good, while it could have been improved by making it sound darker in the verse-pre chorus. If the "Am I bleeding" part was accompanied by some loud fast bass instead, it'd be a huge hit, in my opinion.

I also like Bouncing off the Wall and Youngblood. They're such simply catchy songs that sound like old green day meets billy Joel, and I appreciate that on an album surround by complex musical styles. My biggest gripe with the album is the vocal filters and effects. If they just let Billie sing I'd like the album more.

Oh and on Somewhere Now, the chorus bugs me. Every time I hear it I feel like its missing a word. "We all die in three days" would have flowed 100x better.

anyways here are my albums

1. American Idiot

2. Nimrod

3. Warning

4. Insomniac

5. Kerplunk (if they were able to record this album on reprise like they did dookie, it'd be higher.

6. Dookie

7. 21st CB

8. RevRad

9. Shenanigans

10. Uno

11. Tre

12. Dos

RevRads, not whole discography, any RevRad song is far away from at least top20

But We all die in threes and we all die in three days are totally different meanings.

I have skimmed very very quickly over this and might have missed peple writing this, but the thing i noticed wiith the cello lyrics, which song it is eludes me at the moment, there is a fantastic moment with The Who, when they recorded 'A Quick One...' and they couldn't afford the orchestra to play the part so instead they just sang the word 'cello' intead of using the instrument in the song. And of course the boys covered the same song in a similar way...

I am not even sure if they sing 'cello', ignore all I say!

We must be listening to a different album:lol:

What if all the leaks WERE different versions of the album???   It's unlikely, but they could STILL be tweaking it.   What if it came out on October 7th with a totally different cover, shuffled track listing and maybe even some other songs?

I'd vote on Bouncing off the Wall being replaced with Devil's Kind or Dreamcatcher or anything really.
