Other than Youngblood, I think I get teary eyed at every song.  Each time I hear them, I hear more and more and like them more and more.  Except for youngblood, that can leave.

They NEED to release Outlaws as a single

Indeed, it's so extremely powerful :wub:

The end is so hauntingly beautiful.

Is the guitar at the start of Forever Now the same as American Idiot and is that intentional?

Outlaws and Ordinary World need to not exist.

Fucking love the rest. Forever Now is actually a small masterpiece if you really appreciate creative songwriting. TDTD is fucking awesome too. I WAS A HIGH SCHOOL ATOM BOMB, fucking yes Billie.

The sooner I hear BOTW live, the sooner everything will be okay in the world.

I think Outlaws is actually great, though I agree on Forever Now. Their most epic song since 21CB  Jesus of Suburbia. Pure ear-porn.

I love the little guitar solo-y bits at the end of Somewhere Now. :D

Edit: it's actually about 3 mins in. So good!

I'm think it was just a very similar vocal melody in parts, so they gave the struts credit.

Stand outs so far: Somewhere Now, Say Goodbye, Bouncing Off The Walls and Too Dumb To Die (and the three pre-released songs but they don't really count as they're not as new). Might change of course!

Don't understand the dislike for Youngblood. It's one of my favourites on the album.

The chorus just becomes a little obnoxious towards the end, but the verses are great and along with Bouncing off the Wall it's a refreshing fun song after the emotionally heavy Still Breathing.

For me its the cringeworthy lyrics.  The melody is fun and catchy.  It would be fine as an instrumental

if you're also a Led Zeppelin fan yknow that the intro for Too Dumb To Die is a homage to Robert plant's style of singing

I hate RevRad and even I agree that compared to Somewhere Now and Forever Now, this is a better song.

Say Goodbye, Say Goodbye... :whistle My soundtrack of today. Even bus rides become fun.

I really wouldn't read too much into the lyrics. I mean normally I analyse them to death but when he's rhyming cause with santa clause and camouflage in one song and there's that thing about him being a cello over a rainbow or something these are worse lyrics than his bmexecellent tits days so they probably mean absolutely nothing.

yeah those lyrics are so bad, they ruin the whole song....

Wow, so now you even hate it. The chances for the record to become a masterpiece are rapidly growing.

Totally obnoxious, but I seriously love every song at this point. I find myself skipping around to my "favorites" and eventually make my way through every one, just in the wrong order lol.

Please quote everyone who has said the same thing more than once, thanks.

If I were married for 20+ years and my husband was still writing cheesy love songs about me, I'd be a-ok with that.
