Stefano Bras Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Hmmm... I can already see it on my iTunes BANG BANG Green Day - Revolution Radio

There aren't really any other viable combinations of "rev" and "rad". Revolution Radio just makes sense for a political album. I think it sounds pretty bad ass. Trust me, I'd love if it was the title! It sounds like a Clash album

Tubbie Head Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I think it's time for GDC to have a new logo that says Revolution Radio on it before they announce the album...

Stefano Bras Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I think "Revolution Radio" is a very cliché, try hard album title.. BUT so is "Bang Bang". If they do it right, they can pull it off and make them worthy.
_•Whatsername•_ Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Am i the only one who thinks there's a high possibility that it's gonna be a concept album??
kripack Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Well, that's a weird way to announce a lead single on the official web site...

The other combinations are ridiculous.
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Bleh. Also hope they aren't coming back to the red and black combo.

Steven Seagull Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I liked the trilogy theme more. Full of colors.

I think it's likely due to the fact that their hand was forced - they had to announce something, but weren't yet ready for a proper big press release. Something more... informative... will probably follow soon.

I'd definitely prefer if they used different colors because it's better if the visual style doesn't remind AI too much. Especially if it's a political album.
