I think we'll get some politically charged songs, but I'm really hoping for some songs inspired by the personal struggles that the band members have been going through lately. With what Billie has been through, Brit having cancer and Jason having cancer, it's not exactly been an easy few years for them personally. I'm hoping for a very emotionally raw album that lots of us will be able to connect to. Also I want Mike's sunglasses and Tre's shirt.

I'm fairly confident we'll get one or more personal songs, based on previous records. AI had Wake Me Up When September Ends about the death of his father with the epic AI style (still the best personal song IMHO), Dos! had Lazy Bones referring to Billie's addiction (best track of the album really) and Tre! had X-Kid, which refers to the suicide of a childhood friend of his. I think 12 will emotionally be very powerful, like 21CB and AI.

With the exception of Mike and Tre having different kind of hair. And this picture looks much more "tougher" than any of the pictures made during the trilogy era.

When they put out Dos & Tre. The Trilogy consists of three slightly differently sounding records of one era which could just as well be one album. We've moved on and I think it's a ridiculous to assume that 12 will resemble the Trilogy. If anything, they will blend AI-era GD with the rawer sound of their pre-Warning records and maybe new influences.
.Holly Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I think it's more like their 21CB look, but maybe slightly cooler? I would think that the rest of the track titles are more original, and that BANG BANG will be a really stand out punchy track. At least that's what I'm hoping.
