I know it has been mentioned a few times now, but it would be some kind of troll job if they covered this in any way, shape, or form.  For some reason my brain came up with Lady Cobra, Taylor Swift, and Demi Lovato being featured in this for the other parts in the song.  Also considered: Lady Gaga, William Hung, Beyoncé, will.i.am and Kanye West.  I could only imagine the #squadgoals type article from the serious news site known as Buzzfeed would come up with for any combination of artists for this.  

 

In all seriousness it would be sweet if it was a sequel-type song that spawns off from Holiday.  I know Metallica and Paramore did sequel songs, as I assume many other artists as well.  Bang Bang could build off of the themes from Holiday (war, money in politics, dirty/greedy politicians), and point how little has changed in that regard, or how it has gotten worse over that time.  Billie could talk about the rhetoric that is out there, and who gets hit in the crossfire of all that is going on in the U.S. and globally.  That's as far as I'm willing to let my wandering mind go for this.  I'm going to let go of this thought and take the song for what it is when it comes out on the 11th.  I'm freaking pumped!!!

It would depend who the touring company planning such a tour would be.  If its frontier touring then they operate in New Zealand as well so one would assume that a NZ Tour/Show would be part planning of such a tour.  Last time NZ missed out to my understanding more because Green Day were playing Soundwave and the organizers don't do anything in NZ and when I asked I was told if one touring company already is bringing an act out another one won't attempt to add shows to that tour.   And as we know 99% of music acts touring NZ are done as a stop on a Australian tour and not a stand alone NZ tour.

noticed that some major music magazines are posting about the new song, however rolling stone whom are usually very fast to post news like this haven't yet..
im just waiting for some major article or a front cover feature sooner than later

It's interesting that, also in Billie's Instagram post, they type it as "BANG, BANG" instead of "Bang, Bang"

It has to be referring to gun shots.

I hope that this song will be political as I usually agree with Green Day. Even if I don't agree with them their music compensates me for that.
