yeah, i actually think radio stations get stuff slightly in advance so they can make sure that everything's set to go and so they can accurately hype it up. i know some journalists have gotten it early, too. p normal.

sooooomewhere in this messy thread someone quoted a radio station dj (or even warner? i cant remember) that the radio station will get the song via email in (now) 4 hours, then they can play the song immediately and/or use it for the end of the radio shows

maybe some dudes got it earlier, but i think the majority will get the song later .. i dont know what warners plan is, i'm just recalling this information

On the Dutch radio they mentioned them getting to listen to it in advance. So they probably have a copy at the station already, but just aren't allowed to air it yet.

Yesterday afternoon the DJ's from the Dutch radiostation somehow got to listen to the song early. I'm not sure how, but maybe it was a live stream or a temporary link.

That one DJ recorded a short bit while hearing the song. He said in his show that he'll be playing the song as soon as he receives it in his mailbox which would be around 4pm, which seems to suggest that they don't actually have it yet.

oh, that's interesting. i'd assume the station that's officially handling the world premiere of the song has it already, and perhaps other stations that've advertised that they'll be playing it will get it in a few hours? maybe warner's doing that to make sure they've got this shit on lock, since that's not necessarily always how preparing a song for airplay is handled.
