I have to agree with you on this. I posted in the "message to green day" thread the other day about how easy it is for musicians to make songs about the shitstorm 2016 has been.
It's easy and profitable and trendy, and I don't put it behind Billie one bit....which is only slightly disappointing to admit. 

If Bang Bang is another 99 Revolutions (which wasn't an awful song, just kind of bland)  I probably couldn't defend it the way I defended Know Your Enemy or Oh Love when they came out.
I'm not exactly feeling the whole "Fuck Time" vibe either, if we're taking "Bang" in a sexual way (but yeah I agree with whoever posted that it's probably about guns. How original.)

BUT I'm going to remain positive. Even if it sucks, it's still better than anything else that's out there.

So when people search the already existing song, theirs will pop up too and people will click it out of curiosity/confusion maybe their marketing budget was cut.
