Seriously, I have seen so many different opinions and thoughts on every aspect of the new album/single, from the artwork and logo ideas to what they expect or want for the album to be..

There's gonna be so many butt hurted people after they release the single and the album... there is just no way Green Day can satisfy everyone.

Well the Green Day text in the single art looks like someone added it with Microsoft Paint. Also that saturated red hurts my eyes.

Looks fake to me. The logo and title just make that cover look boring. It's a huge contrast between the awesome collage made by Maddocks. So I may hope that one is not the actual album cover.

As long as people who don't like it don't take it upon themselves to try and end or ridicule every conversation about it between people who do (a la the trilogy) I'm fine with that . All the band can do is make the music they want as well as they can (anything else and it's destined to be bad from the start). I hope I like it but as long as they're doing that can't complain really. The idea of them making music to try and cater to what fans want or that they're "letting fans down" if they don't is much more horrid than the idea of them making an album that doesn't happen to be my cup of tea.

Finally heard on Kerrang radio today, UK premier is Friday, thought it would be.  I was at work and didn't catch if DJ said am or pm but he seemed pretty fired up for it.  Mentioned the fandom was going nuts waiting, called it the big news this week.
