I've iwned a couple of G-3's, they actually don't weigh all that much. The problem is that they're top-heavy; the body is so light that if you let go of the neck, the whole thing dips. So it kind of feels heavier.

i have a ripper, im well familiar w/ that series of body. them shits is heavy. period. and yeah, that dip sux. but they sound sooooo good. the only other bass i like would be a fender jazz w/ a p/j configuration.

Here's a thought.... Bang Bang isn't on their 'New' Album...

 

Why?

- Looking at all three members instagram posts since the 'new single' announcement, they have all hash tagged #mynewband.  Why would an announcement from their new album be linked to the #mynewband project?

- Why a new guy mixing the song? and by his recent post, 'I've mixed the shit out of it", it could be something pieced together.

- both the recent promo's from Warner about the one day early listening session only mentions listening to the new single.

- all members have only mentioned the premiere of their new single. Why wouldn't it be promoted as 'the new single from our upcoming album'?

 

To me, this has been far too secretive this time around that I think there is something else in the works. We haven't heard/seen a mention of #mynewband for a while, and now it's linked to all new photos about the single.  The new album is coming, undoubtably, but is this a new project first?

I agree that they're not great last songs but Prosthetic Head would have fitted well around the middle of Nimrod, maybe track 11.

you're absolutely wrong, clearly it is a green day song from their new album. i know we're all on the edges of insanity but if you just wait a few more days we'll get the new song and everything will be okay.

If I'm wrong, that's fine.  Just a few too missing details around this albums release.  No doubt it's finished and ready to go, but maybe something else.

My thoughts are that maybe Jeff and Keyboard Jason are maybe now going to be listed as official members. Nothing more than that could be thought of without it being a daft conspiracy theory.

Has anyone considered the possibility of a simultaneous release? Or even just close together. Side Project 3 followed by GD 12 a few weeks later? It's a long shot, but who the hell knows with this band anymore.
