OK, it doesn't say that on the website, it makes it sound like it is 2017.

Well the top banner says 9-11 June 2017, the dates on the poster are 10-12 June. The bottom of the poster you linked:

I didn't scroll to the bottom , I just saw the 2017 date, linked to the lineup and that is what I saw.

I wholeheartedly admit I was wrong.

I really hope they play at least one song from the less popular albums.  Sure everyone in the world loves to get smacked in the face with Idiot Dookie and it's cool that they play those staples.  But there is plenty of room for some Warning, Insomniac and Trilogy love too.   Bands make a standard set list, then have one or two songs they trade out now and then.    No One Knows is 24 years old now and I don't think it's ever been played.    Insomniac has a handful they've never done, Nimrod has "Walking Alone"....... The non album tracks I sort of understand that those may never get played, which is heartbreaking because I think my all time favorite Green Day songs are all non-albums and b-sides.    But that's okay.   Other than the Insomniac songs, I kind of see how the other ignored songs might not fit into a normal concert.         

Long story short, I just want to at least hear one track from each album.   They've got 12 albums, so that's doable.

Ticket sales starts the 9th of September at 10am. 

 

Be careful, on the article they say that's what it's being said online. 

I mean, the news is probably right but it's not an official announcement.

Well now that is pretty official.  I have a feeling that is not a full concert.  It is combined with the salute to the athletes, it starts really early (630) and is very cheap, only $25 Canadian, which is about $20 US.  However, it is a start.    :)

I totally agree with the fact that it's not an official announcement, but since everyone is talking about it I thought that I should bring it up.

Still nothing. But it is very likely it's happening within a few days because there are rumors that on February 3 , they'll exhibit in Paris, and tickets should be put on sale on September 9! =)
