I hope so, but they held the event without him, so it's probably over with.  But maybe it'll  become some kind of annual thing, with a different lineup/theme  each time? Then he could do it next year.

Possibly this event was a one off though so he can't be invited to attend again. He was posting on Instagram and twitter after cancelling and Swmrs gig (with Joey) went ahead and they posted non stop on every possible social media so I would assume/hope the "family issue" wasn't life threatening etc thankfully. As for speculating about what was wrong obviously its none of our business but anyway I wouldn't bother ...clearly he was caught sexting Lady Cobra again. Ouch

I still believe there is a slight chance he could be invited to some other university event as most schools do shitton of such events over the year. So something else might pop up. Wishful thinking here

I watched a little of the beginning of the event and the announcer said that there will be more of these to come...so maybe Billie will get invited to the next one.

Says in the article they're an on campus group called the Student Labor Committee which "often disrupts gatherings to protest working conditions both on campus and around the world". So it was nothing related to the event itself.
