I'd probably say Insomniac is my favorite. like you, I relate to it a lot lyrically and I love the heavy sound of it. That said, nimrod is a very close 2nd. nimrod will always be special to me because that was when I was first getting into Green Day and getting really stoked on them. I got into Green Day after Insomniac came out, so nimrod was the first Green Day album I was anticipating and I remember taping interviews and music videos off MTV onto my VCR. I remember going to the record store to buy the album on the day that it came out, and I remember reading about the show that happened at Tower Records the night before. The first time I ever saw Green Day live was on the nimrod tour. My dad took me to see them up near Albany on Mother's Day of 1998 when I was 11, so all of this factors into my love of the album
