BucksCoEric Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 FWIW, Rise against, another punk band has used Bill Stevenson to produce their last 4 albums. idk if hes someone green day would work with but could be a slight possibility if billie wanted them to sound a little heavier.
Harry Potter. Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Bill Stevenson is an awesome punk producer. I wish Blink chose him to produce their record instead of Feldmann. He wouldn't be my choice for Green Day though. I feel like musically they are able to explore more than Stevenson would allow them to.

That said, Rob Cavallo is probably the most likely producer (looking at history) and it's impossible to say for sure (or even really as an educated guess) who it is.

If usually gdcers are known to speculate in not very popular threads, add a ton of them and you'll have this thread as the result. Some of the things posted in here are simply stupid and there's way too much off topic stuff, but that being said, why can't people discuss and speculate on the album? I thought that was what this thread was from, apart from stating news. I feel like I'm watched by the police when I come here sometimes... not by mods but by other posters! If you don't want to read about will.i.am just past through those posts, but who will be producing this album is actually related to the album so why all the complaints constantly!?
