He knew the band was recording, or near done, around this time. I took it as a "wheels are in motion" kind of statement to calm people down.

I say serious rehearsals because for sure they had to be playing together to get this album going, but if Jeff is not messing it would mean they will now practice specifically for the tour. I don't want to be a random guesser in here but I think I've never said anything just by gut feeling I'm this thread so here's my moment of glory: I have a feeling that we'll know something tomorrow. If that's not the case I'll stop guessing forever I promise

Whether it be Green Day, Foxboro Hot Tubs, or a surprise appearance of Billie Joe with someone else.
